I’ve been dual parenting for 11 years now. After my Mom died, my Dad was fine living on his own, but 9 years ago he had a catastrophic injury brought on my sepsis/staph and lost part of his leg. After recovering and therapy, he still lives independently, drives himself, etc. His memory has started to slip a bit.

This is the second time in less than three months a group of jagoffs associated with The Base have been arrested. Previously it was two men from Delaware and Maryland and a Canadian national who crossed the border illegally.

A few years ago on vacation, I found about $140 on the floor in a supermarket. It was a Saturday afternoon, which is typical changeover day for beach rentals. I was torn about what to do with it, but ended up turning it over to customer service (which I figured would be the last I’d see of it).
