Sorry for your loss, Elizabeth. My Mom’s favorite holidays were Thanksgiving and Christmas (with my birthday sandwiched in between) so this time of year can be a challenge emotionally.

I would suggest just being present for that person.

I am so sorry for your loss. My Mom passed from pancreatic cancer 10 years ago and it still feels very fresh depending on the circumstances.
