It sounds like the title was misleading, sounds like he was arrested for disorderly type shit and threatening folks, but the writer of this story buried that pertinent information neatly into the paragraphs and let’s the headline get all the clicks.

You clicked on the headline then headed straight to the outrage forum? He’s in trouble for threatening the sub and being disruptive. Not arrest worthy offenses, but not a Constitutional right, either.

According to the arrest affidavit, the student was arrested by the school resource officer because he refused to follow multiple commands, repeatedly called school leaders racist and was disruptive. They said he threatened to get the school resource officer and principal fired and to beat the teacher.

Glossed over that ‘threatened his teacher with violence’ bit eh? Almost as if he was arrested for that rather than standing for the pledge. I guess that wouldn’t have painted him as a victim well enough though.
