There’s a Clash of Kings mod for Mount & Blade Warband that’s actually pretty decent. More action orientated than RP, but very faithful recreation of the world.

They actually approached Bethesda to make one, but they thought it would be too similar to the Elder Scrolls games. Bethesdas games have their flaws, but I still respect what they try to achieve. The wording is that the author of SKYUI didn’t want to port it himself, but would release it if someone else did most of the heavy lifting.

SKSE is in development. But SkyUI has been discontinued by the original author. Once SKSE is released they will probably get the permissions to rebuild SkyUI for SSE but as of now there’s no word on anyone doing it.
