Did you give back your $1200 that I didn’t get but had to pay for?

deviled. eggs.
I completely agree- never used, never will use UberEats/Grubhub. But, the one exception would be for restaurants that did not offer delivery to begin with and are using the delivery services in lieu of hiring delivery drivers. I am assuming that they would rather pay the cut than make the investment necessary for…
Do people participate in challenges because they hope they will be the next viral sensation? Or do people actually enjoy the process of setting up and recording a challenge?
Yeah, restaurants in NYC are going to take a beating for the forseeable future. Regulations mandating space between tables is going to mean closed restaurants because there will be no way to make rent with 1/2 the tables.
This virus is going to come back this coming fall/winter. And next fall/winter. Within the next 2 or 3 years, everyone in the U.S. is either going to be exposed, or there will be a vaccine. Then it will be back to pre-pandemic rituals. There will be economic devastation in the meantime, but this social distancing…
While traveling abroad, I ate some roasted wasps on a dare. I assumed that they would be crunchy when I ordered the dish. They were not. Picture inch long wasps that were soggy to the bite. I ate about 5 mouthfuls before I had to tap out.
LOL, you want to get rid of millenials in NYC but want to bring back the millenial living in NYC that left (Kristen).
My credit card bill is down about 65%. All the spending for stuff that could be categorized as “vanity” spending- clothing, shoes, hair care for the wife, upgrades for the house, etc. have gone to zero. It’s just food and keeping the baby clothed/active.
Uh, no. Cars are still permitted down 7th and Broadway in TS, cars are permitted on the 72nd cross-street in CP, and cars are still allowed where Broadway ends at Union Square. But thanks for playing.
Ok you fucking boomer.
The streets that would be shut down to passenger cars are not the ones where you see cars parked. Those are mostly residential and less crowded. The streets that SHOULD be shut down are the ones that have tons of pedestrian traffic- commercial districts like Times Square, park-like areas like Union Square, and actual…
You know, you can be a fan of cars and still not want people driving in the most dense city in the U.S. that is served well by public transportation. I love driving (manual only!) and had a car when I lived in NYC, but I never drove it around the city. It was only to get out of the city.
I’m in a state (NJ) with the most restrictive rules for sheltering in place. I still go to the supermarket, walk around the neighborhood, visit relatives, and go to the office when needed. This is not house arrest.
How do they compare to your brown butter cinnamon rolls? Cuz I made those, ate almost all of them myself, and they should also be called Giant Ass Cinnamon Rolls, except with a strategically placed comma:
Teens driving without licenses and cops who don’t pull over drivers.
That’s interesting- 00 flour is low gluten, but I guess the refined texture provides the chewiness? I use bread flour which is high gluten to provide the chewiness in the crust. I might have to experiment with the 00 if and when the stores have flour back in stock.
I love the taste of almond extract. Not real almonds. Just the fake almond flavor that reminds me of eating Good Humor Toasted Almond bars. So I make my own ice cream flavored with almond extract and chopped up toffee bars. The wife won’t touch it.
Just release the Baja version as a special edition and watch it sell out in minutes.
I make my own pizza from scratch and I would put my crust up against any fancy pizza place. The key is to use high-gluten flour and to allow the dough to proof sufficiently. Also, don’t work the dough too hard.
