The new tv models are all released in March and April, which is when the old 2019 ones get discounted. However, there is no guarantee that the particular model you want will be cheaper than the sales going on right now- it all depends on the remaining stock.

This is a bad take. The main reason is that the premise- that people should buy appliances (mainly TVs) because of Super Bowl sales- is entirely wrong. It’s not a good time to buy. Prices get cheaper AFTER the Super Bowl, especially for TVs.

I absolutely believe this. My dumb neighbor who has all her kids on a gluten free diet (even though they have no known gluten issues) is going to have dumb kids.

If you can’t, then a gigantic SUV is probably not the car you should be driving.

The U.S. is already at sub-replacement level birth rates. If everyone followed this advice, and Trump’s immigration laws exclude new immigrants from replenishing the population, the U.S would eventually die off.

From the restaurant’s point of view, being a non-partnered restaurant would seem to be the ideal situation- you get additional takeout revenue from the apps without paying a cut of the order. The only downside is when there is a mix-up, but presumably GrubHub is the one who has to make good with the customer, not the

The writing has been on the wall for gastropubs for a while, I think. The novelty of drinking good beer when you buy a $20 burger wears off after a while.

The idea that a person has ANY privacy regarding their location while outside the home is ludicrous. You have NONE if you carry a cell phone. This plate stuff is peanuts.

Whole Foods stores 30 minutes outside of Manhattan are fully stocked (2 different locations) as of this morning.

Nah, that doesn’t really work. Successor liability would allow the workers to get their money. It would have to be a significantly different restaurant with different investors/shareholders.

Red Bank, NJ is one of the richest towns in NJ. It’s close to Neptune, one of the poorest, but there is no really easy way to get from one to the other without a car. So the Red Bank location probably gets a fairly even mix of can/can’t pay. It’s probably break even, if not slightly profitable.

Sorry, yeah it’s a 6mt.

It’s different in Detroit.

B8 A4 5mt. No sounds. I’m at 91k miles and dealer told me that they should be done before 100k.

But the timing chain needs to be replaced around 100k miles anyway, right? My my dealer quoted me $2700 for it. This guy is unloading right before.

You misread. The sentence you seem to be referring to is about how non-white authors are not allowed to write about the experiences of white people by the publishing industry. All the books published seem to be about non-white experiences.

Yup. My boss drives a 15 yr old Sienna to the office. He’s worth about $10M.

Inflation? The price of oil is going down. I don’t think our economy has enough momentum to drive demand pull inflation. The only real risk are tariffs imposed by Dumpf but those can be pulled back. And even if tariffs triggered inflation, the Fed is now a dove.

There’s no indication that it’s coming soon? Because all you need to do is look at China and Europe. Our GDP may be growing, but half the Fortune 100 are probably relying on international markets for growth.

Obama was in bed with Wall Street and his UC cabal. I recognize that. But the Republicans keep blowing up the deficit with their fucking “trickle down” tax cuts that NEVER work in terms of raising revenue. It’s a just a hand out to the rich. Clinton actually managed to balance the budget before Shrub demolished it
