Yup. There are many, many towns like Watchung scattered throughout NJ. When wemoved out of NYC, my wife and I actively avoided Republican towns and that eliminated a lot of places.

Given the size and visibility of the largest SUVs, there should be a separate driver’s test for people who want to drive them, just like CDLs. That might have saved the hood of my car from the ass who backed her Escalade into it in a parking lot.

Tort liability is primarily governed by common law (case law) and so we don’t need to pass any laws for that. But if we want people to stop using these types of unproven features, it would be nice to be able to have a cop ticket them for careless driving.

I agree, but you just know that there are dingbats out there who will do anything to avoid responsibility. I’d rather nail them with a law than let them wrangle their way through the courts.

What if you don’t know that the Smart Summon feature doesn’t work? I can envision the “it worked in my driveway, if someone is to blame, it’s Tesla” defense. Which could take years to resolve in the courts if the owner wants to take it that far. Would be much easier to just pass a law.

I think our kids must have been related in a past life. The few times my kid ate fish sticks he refused to eat the breading. And his favorite food is carrots.

My kid has been below the 20th percentile for his weight his entire life. And while other kids his age seem to be getting bigger and fatter, he’s not. So, it’s not just 1-2 days of not eating.

Wut. The shoulders on his jacket are too big. The green dress could not be lumpier. The hombre color effect on Ashley’s dress accentuates all her bulges (some may like that but most people try to avoid that).

There are reasons to be concerned about your kid who is not eating, even if they are not going to die. Being 3 feet tall when he’s 9 years old is one of them.

Yup. And I try to give him the stuff that kids like- mac and cheese, chicken fingers, pizza, french fries- hell, he won’t even eat PB&J.

Uber never pays the driver more than what it collects from the passenger. Its cut is always a percentage of the fare or a flat fee.
