That’s what she said.

The number of $70k+ cars parked on NYC streets is kind of mind-numbing. I did it for 5 years with a new A4 and it was great because I knew that other cars would be targeted before mine. Also, manual.

Isn’t DGF one of the stages that women go through as they get older? My wife keeps saying some version of “Sometimes I can’t wait to get old so I can do that” whenever we see an 80 year-old with purple hair wearing hot pants.

The trend in fashion is for the manufacturers in China to actually design the clothing too. Right now, most labels employ designers in NYC or LA/SF who are responsible for ensuring that the manufacturer (usually in China) correctly implements their designs. It’s very time consuming.

Tip creep is definitely a thing. Just ask my wife.

It is a distinction without a difference. TB Corporate makes money if the franchises make money. And the franchisees know that the money they hand over to corporate includes a certain amount for advertising. The fine print “escape clause” makes both parties happy- TB Corporate satisfies its advertising commitment and

Taco Bell is counting on you to make the effort to get to one of their restaurants in response to their commercial. Once you are there, they are also counting on you to order the food regardless of whether it is $5 or not because you’ve already trudged out there.

I make significantly more than my wife but I tell her all the time that I would not mind it if it were the other way around. I have no problems being a kept man.

“That is great news for the sanctity of the sport.”

That’s the whole point. Don’t allow corporations to hide behind fine print. Is the product advertised for $5 actually $5? No? Then don’t run the ad. Or leave the price out of the ad. But don’t run a 2 second blurb to cover your ass.

It is laziness. Don’t run a national ad campaign if the ad isn’t true nationally. If certain areas are more expensive, don’t run the ads in that media market. It’s really simple.

Why are you ok with fine print being used to excuse corporate laziness? Taco Bell could easily just make ads that don’t mention price. Oh, but those are not as effective as $5 deals? Too fucking bad.

Then Taco Bell should not make advertisements for their franchises that mention price.

The easy solution is to have separate credit card accounts but pay them from your merged account. My wife closed her bank account and just added her name to mine, but she kept her old credit card. I have no idea what she spends her money on until we pay the bill at the end of the month.

Did the sunroof stop working because BMW did something stupid that was easily preventable?

I knew a spy in the CIA. I once jokingly asked him if I would make a good spy and he turned serious for a moment and said “No.”

I would absolutely pay a little bit more for this than a Model 3. That thing is just ugly.

If this car were featured in a “Help us identify this car!” crime video, we would never reach a consensus.

There is no difference between a cow and dog other than the physical dimensions. The OP at least had the intelligence to admit that the only reason people don’t eat dog is cultural.

Counterpoint: it’s only good if the comparison is to Kraft from a box.
