Agreed. Post-Michael The Office gets too harsh of a rap. Its unevenness is the biggest problem, but there were still really good stories, episodes, and characters.

Seriously, “Pure Comedy” is a top three album of the year for how well it lampoons the ways we consume Entertainment. “The Memo” goes after what you mentioned really, really well.
