Unrelated to the main discussion at hand, I just want to say YES! I too love Taco Bell, and I have also never suffered any kind of bathroom blowups from it. All the people always talking about that must have some delicate digestive systems or something.

i mean if we found a link to mental illness in genetics, is that bad? racism, sexism and homophobia are one thing. eliminating harmful or defective genes from the gene pool for the betterment of human-kind is entirely another. eugenics has a stigma because people who WERE racist, exist or homophobic saw the potential

Name checks out! Up dosage and allow him to continue carp fishing under South Carolina highway bridge.

not sound like but makes him a holder of the eugenicist mindset full stop.

he is a good example of something people gotta remember for all time and place. people are a mix of good and bad and those people can produce good or bad things without regard to their other good or bad traits.

It’s a good thing you had this account so you could ungray the idiotic comment you made with your other account. That’s some old-school conservative astro-turfing you are doing there.

It’s also basically the platform of the Democratic party.

Everything you just said is wrong lol.

There should be a movement in science aimed at all the old shitheads telling them to please keep their mouths shut so we can continue to pretend they aren’t shitheads.

It doesn’t just make him sound like a eugenicist. It makes him a eugenicist.

+1 “sir”

Using ‘gay’ to mean, I guess, ‘out of control, crazy’ would be entirely new to me, which really should be sufficient reason to buy Wiggins’s explanation.

Yeah, in my experience it seems like at least fifteen. But then again, there are some people (like my brother) who still use it that way.

As someone who repeatedly used the word “gay” as a slur in grade school (back before I understood what it even meant and why it was a slur) it’s clear to me that he said “getting” because that’s the only thing that makes sense. If Wiggens had been using it as a slur, he’d have said “he was being gay” or “he was acting

Totally agree... if he did mean to say gay, it doesn’t fit in the context of the rest of his sentence

I would have given you a star if you’d gone with Laurel.

If he was saying “getting” and “crazy,” he could easily have mashed the words together to make “gay.” That happens to me fairly often when I’m speaking too quickly and I’m trying to pick between words.

There’s nothing I can say here that isn’t blindingly obvious; if Wiggins used “gay” as a slur, it’s wrong, and if he didn’t, it’s nothing.

I think he said yanny.

I’m willing to believe him, simply because it would just be an extremely odd time to use the slur, IMO. Maybe I am naive, but in an interview after the fact and in that context just...I dunno, seems unlikely.

I’d like to clarify my comments about my former Timberwolves teammates. I never called them gay. I said they were buster-ass scrubs with no heart and Karl-Anthony Townes is a generic Sam’s Choice diet Anthony Davis wannabe who couldn’t beat a high school team if he was spotted 30 points and one of Michael Jordan’s
