You’re right it isn’t difficult...because people don’t tell you that they got a new number if they haven’t changed their number from the one they gave you previously. No one tells you that they have a new number because they assume you haven’t remembered to put their number in your phone.
A Crisis like event could be good, if they use it to make some changes like maybe shifting around the universes to put Flash and the Legends in the same universe as Supergirl.

I was also very critical of Fox’s X-Men when it started, as it felt like a mix of familiar elements and annoyances like Morph, the TV only character that dragged the show down every time he appeared. Once they got past that story it got a lot better and became one of my favorite shows of the time.
I’m missing the issue with the joke. I saw the comment about anti-semitism, but i’m not sure I would call a joke about someone’s physical features that isn’t based in bigotry a problematic thing. YMMV though so...whatever.
