I know I’m gonna get pummeled...but I watched the ‘05 FF on Netflix last night. Terrible movie as well - but I have to say Michael Chiklis nailed The Thing. The tone, for that character at least, was spot on.
“I think we tried to make a darker ‘Fantastic Four’ movie, which seemed like a radical idea...” And at that point I simultaneously laughed AND cried.
