It was actually a bit distracting for this show. I didn’t watch much of it but my fiance was into it in a major way. I plopped down to watch a little bit of it and was pretty confused about the character. I figured they were a mechanic or a rich kid or something and was pretty confused about what I was watching until

I’m stuck between waiting to get a PS5 or just buying it on steam and potentially dealing with modders/cheaters

Doubly so if you aren’t going for 500hp builds. All of my mods are “reliability mods. Basically, if it was going to wear out, I replaced it with something aftermarket, with the added benefit of slight bumps in HP. If I had to guess, I’m somewhere in the 275whp range (up from 250 crank) and the only piece of suspension

nearly 10 years ago, I almost bought one for $11k from a mechanic who had personally done the timing chain job. Manual wagon with alcantara seats.

My fiance is between this and a used (2018) Tiguan. For this, I believe the AWD comes with a 7 speed DCT. If I’m asked for input (and cost isn’t a huge consideration) I’ll opt for the AWD for that reason

I wish they’d just shrink it down and give me the EV hot hatch I’m waiting for

Yup, I got super lucky that I built my current PC when I did, near the beginning of the pandemic. I got my 2080 for around $550 to my door from EVGA and they skyrocketed right after that

NP, not because I like it or want it, but because any running and driving car for $2500 is a good deal at this point. More so for being even remotely interesting. I got my hopes up thinking this was a manual swapped V8 though

Hell, my company doesn’t do work that is nearly as vital or essential to society, yet our CEO will do semi monthly reminders for not opening suspicious emails from unscrupulous addresses or imposters. These sorts of things are ALWAYS leadership issues

I’m not even sure it’s a regulation thing. It might just not be cost effective to bring them over since they’re built overseas and wagons don’t sell well here.

Sooo, can we slam it like people do with the Infinit FX35 and effectively make it a wagon? I’m not sure of the dimensions

Oh man I have so many...
Yellow fog lights, duckbill spoilers, $100 ebay front lip kits, but worst of all I still think crackle tunes are cool <hides in shame>

I thought these looked cool too, until I started seeing them on non-hellcat Dodges

I owned a pre drift-tax 5 speed swapped Cressida that I then traded for a (non running) Z31, that I then cash-for-clunker’d. My late teens/early 20's are full of automotive regret.

I’d love to continue my Dragon Quest XI playthrough, but I just discovered the world of GTA RP and I’ve been having a blast doing that so...

I think it was an OK movie (no worse than any other action movie based on an existing IP), but sort of dropped the ball as Mortal Kombat. I’ll admit though, that judgement is mostly due to the treatment of Kabal, which is one of my favorite characters

My motorsports experience is pretty limited - about 1-2 track days a year (not counting this or last year) - but I’d love to help out any way I can if yall are ever in the northeast!

Yup, sounds like we’re about the same age. That’s exactly what I did. I’m happy with the money, but I would have loved to do something automotive or automotive adjacent as a career

This is great! I wish there was a program like this when I was pursuing my engineering degree years ago. This is way more interesting than internships working to maintain compliance for audit season. Hopefully I’ll have kids someday that are interested in such a program.

I briefly owned a Mk1 Cabrio (1984 if I remember correctly) that could not hold onto oil if its life depended on it. If you didn’t floor it going up hills, you barely have enough power to prevent from stalling. I’d be surprised if it had even 80% of its 75 or so horsepower, but it was a hoot to drive everywhere at WOT
