Reese Witherspoon and Jim from The Office have added to the growing criticism about the Oscars’ lack of diversity.
Ever since someone else pointed out Jimmy Fallon never does anything of political or social substance (e.g. Black Lives Matter) I can’t stop seeing that whenever he crops up.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Viola Davis weighed in on the lack of diversity among this year’s Oscar…
White people who compare mild to moderate situations/annoyances to MLK’s struggle are the fucking worst.
Ex-Oklahoma City police officer Daniel Holtzclaw, 29, has been sentenced to 263 years in prison, the full amount…
I hope Chris Rock tells White Hollywood to kiss his Black ass and walks off in the middle of the broadcast.
You’re not wrong that Gore would have won if Nader voters had cast ballots for Gore, but you’re still ignoring several facts:
In other words you’ve constructed a false narrative about Bernie that’s completely divorced from the facts.
Based on their infographic, their early pick of Clinton seems pretty rooted in choosing a candidate who has, and will continue to, go to the mat for them. Even this week, Clinton said she’s in favor of repealing Hyde. That’s major.
What about Oscar Isaac for Ex-Machina and Benidico Del Toro for Sicario? Both actors were widely praised for their roles. What about the foreign film Girlhood, which also got critical acclaim and is more popular than most of the foreign film nominations? Tessa Thompson for Creed?
I think it’s poor form for Jezebel to use Planned Parenthood’s own website comparing Sanders and Clinton as evidence in an article talking about the three parties, particularly when PP has already endorsed Clinton.
Agreed. The sad thing is, I will still watch it.
Didn’t you find just about every kitchen janky? I have friends that rent and their kitchens are much nicer.
I’m a Real Housewives superfan, but I HATED the first episode. The women were bizarrely vile to each other. I mean, all RH shows feature some level of woman on woman emotional violence, but this was beyond.
My favorite part was the lady sitting upstairs getting her makeup done complaining that “they don’t know me” well enough to open her kitchen cabinets or make noise in her house. But they know her well enough to do her party prep and act as hosts for the first 20 minutes? What?
It’s why outside of NYC and Los Angeles, they don’t get real socialites.
Or “Rich Women without a Job in...”
Yup, I played around with Redfin once and there are pretty modest-sized homes near Metro stops that are worth a million dollars. Even townhouses can go for at least $500k, and usually more if you’re close to a Metro stop or major attraction. But that was in the Northwest, which is pretty affluent.
