They started off with a good idea but the interior is absolutely hideous. Vintage exteriors are just as stunning as the exteriors, so for $460K I’d be expecting a helluva lot more.

Considering 2/3rds of the screen is taken up by images of the interior and exterior, it could’ve been a lot smaller.

Yeah, I don’t understand the point of building a new 1967 Mustang and then trying to make the interior look like something from a 2022 Mustang.  Ruins the whole vibe.

RetroSound Wonderbar - $350

My eyes blocked it out

Yeah - especially for nearly a half-million bucks.

Hard agree here! I wish it had some reworked old dials in there, that would be sweet

My bad - I misread the comment as remote start. I’ve definitely driven manual with keyless ignition, you’re right.

So buy a low-miles creampuff 10yo one that doesn’t have all the stupid shit. That is what I did - bought a 2011 128i convertible (and had to travel a couple thousand miles to get it). “Overpriced” by historical standards but an absolute minter with 46K on it, it was still less than half the cost of a new one that I

Cars now are almost definitely more full-featured than the good ol days of individually optioning things like heated seats and navigation. Still, it makes every car feel a little less unique, and I kinda miss that feeling

Laughed out loud at this and then I realized that the statement is 100% accurate.

Whenever you wonder why the Boomers are they way they are, just remember they all suffer from lead poisoning.

This is one of the big reasons I wanted the GR86—no bullshit “safety” features that enable asshole eunuchs to pay even less attention and aggravate anyone else with incessant beeps and noises that would drive me to road rage. I mean, you can get it with the Eyesight stupidity if you want to pay several grand next time

Yeah EyeSight would be a nice feature to remove. I wonder if they have a “Plastic Cladding Delete Package?” That would be a nice option.

Well, real ‘murican trucks, none of them baby sized ones.

You are not alone. I have simply stopped buying new cars at all, since no automaker builds what I want anymore. But they used to, and there are plenty of them available gently used if you are willing to put in the effort. I’m not paying the new car premium for a compromise.

This is what I’ve always wanted with options - an a la carte approach instead of “Oh you want the sunroof? Well that requires the ultra premium paint, heated/cooled leather seats, baby puke container, center console cooler, driver aids package and the fart can exhaust”

Did somebody shit in your cheerios this morning?

Very, very huge. Everyone says so.

The biggest.  Ever.
