If she had been in a lowered Civic this wouldn't have happened.

to be fair, “she almost had him”

You’d be surprised how little extra drag this sort of thing causes. I can bet there is waaay less difference dragging a car vs. the difference between a loaded and an empty trailer. Or even partially loaded vs. max’d out. Similar but not the same - in college I worked for an armored car/courier service that had both

That’s what she gets for trying to hijack all those DVD players!

You simply could not think of a more douchtastic sticker for this asshats car.

Yep, the Focus disappearing then was part of Ford’s killing off of non-trucks/CUVs besides the Mustang.

I know a few people who’ve had Fiesta ST, and besides the HVAC blend door actuator failing (which seems less bad than the VW tradition of leaking water pump thermostat housings), they seem pretty reliable.

You sound like a fun guy!

I gave featherlite a star for being correct, yet I also must give you a star for displaying an empty fuck bowl*.

I stand by my opinion that manuals make any car more fun and engaging to drive.”

On paper, and by just about any objective measurement, automatics and Dual-Clutch’es are better than a manual. A hearty few of us still don’t give a single shit. Manual’s are just more fun.”

Maybe I am weird sort of gearhead, but I have no desire for a mainstream crossover with a manual. Cars, trucks, I want a manual. My 2018 Mazda3 hatch Grand Touring? Manual, and I would not own one with an automatic. But I have never driven my wife’s CX-9 and thought I wanted it to be a manual. It just seems contrary

I did consider the Focus ST, but there were a couple of issues. One, the cargo area is weirdly small. Noticeably so compared to my old Mazdaspeed3 (don’t believe Ford’s specs, they must be measuring to the roof). Two, new ones were non-existent in my area by the time I was shopping in June 2019.

Say, that’s a nice fucks to give bowl.

My 2019 GTI replaced a 2008 Mazdaspeed3 that was due for new tires, an intake valve cleaning, still on the original clutch, but worst of all, the underside was getting pretty rusty. Figured I couldn’t do anything about the tin worm, so I decided to trade it in and take advantage of then-favorable rebates on the GTI.

Well, I bought a GTI with a manual transmission instead of a DSG, slower shifts, weak pressure plate and all. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I owned one. First year CX5 with a manual. Unfortunately that also meant the 2.0 motor and well...it wasn’t exactly speedy. Still, it was a joy to row the gears.

But there’s nothing in that bo- oh aha!

Ah, the same bowl Mazda keeps its fucks about your wants in.

I think you might be the only one in the US asking for a manual transmission in a CX-5.

That toddler scream that disturbs everyone nearby in a restaurant. The scream where others politely turn their head and ignore it because this is their first time in the last year that they’ve been able to socialize. The scream where a friend of mine loudly says, hey how about you control your demon child instead of
