I mean, if you can’t comfortably go through it, nobody has a gun to your head telling you to.
more companies need to get on board with deleting the tacked on screen and only having a basic stereo + basic HVAC controls.
Oh god, yes! With the time change coming soon, there will be way too many idiots driving with just their dim DRLs and no rear lights. It should be illegal for the dashboard to light up in a car if only the DRLs are on, so morons at least have some sort of a signal that they need to turn their lights on as it gets dark.
low cg is obviously good, but yea, its like roller skates on a pig.
yeah, a ton of folks are just so enamored by range that they forget they’re operating 5,000lb battering rams.
Probably the same people that encounter mist in the air and set their wipers to Turbo Prop
That’s the opposite of what they did. Instead of pushing a fix for problem X in software Y, they deleted software Y so that all the problem tags for Y are no longer valid. Can’t edit an entry in the company on-line directory? Delete the directory. See - no more edit problems.
I don’t know how many think they’re headlights, and how many just don’t notice that their headlights aren’t on because the DRLs are way too bright. There should be a legal limit on how bright DRLs are allowed to be, because it’s really dangerous to use them as headlights.
I’m in software development. I can’t tell you how many time I’ve seen ticket responses from developers and from myself that look like this:
Not to mention DRL from my experience does not turn on back lights. I notice it mostly in bad storms where I can see the car passing me but can’t see it once it has passed.
The number of people that drive with just DRLs on at night because they legit think that they’re headlights are actually on IS TOO DAMN HIGH!
I can take public transit to my office in Boston, I even live 1mi from a commuter rail station, but its more expensive and takes longer to take the train than to drive - including tolls, gas, depreciation, maintenance, etc. Thats before convenience is even rolled into the factor
It’s #3 once you IN Boston, that’s the thing. You can take the T to Worcester and that’s about it outside of Boston.
Non-car people’s disdain for cars doesn’t excuse them from knowing how to properly use them. Put another way, if driving scares you don’t do it.
That us car people get all of our knowledge from internet slideshows.
And people be cashin’ them!
After the editing window expired, I noted the argument by NovemberAjax that the actual restriction is sticky-wicketier than the advertised 7 feet. That isn’t exactly sporting of the authorities, but the procedure for dealing with it is the same (and there are still cars getting smashed up that should have cleared it…
Technically, more Minis. Not many were Coopers.
