Agreed, but I can at least admit it does provide entertainment for some. Not me, of course, but some.

I would agree if he said he had an issue with FSD, but it's not Tesla's fault nobody seems to want to put in the effort to Google how limited Autopilot is in aviation.
Commissioning smaller and smaller violins is getting expensive quickly.
You could just say, “Don’t use any Tiktok hacks” but I guess that wouldn’t let you (in the royal sense) write a hundred articles about each complete B.S. lifehack some idiot posts to Tiktok.
To be fair, once you’ve pissed off a cop, which is easy when you start in with the “the laws you are paid to enforce don’t apply to me” bullshit, there is no “ talk reasonably with police”. Even if you’re the whitest person you know, it’s either do what they say and sort it out in the court room later or you’re going…
If you’re dumb enough to believe your opinions about your rights that you discovered in some online forum overrule the opinions of law enforcement, you’re dumb enough to not realize law enforcement can enforce that law with the threat of violence or death.
On the bright side, one less douchebag in the world that…
Also is there a fail safe for steering if the battery dies?
I think I’d have more of a problem with a yoke than with variable steering geometry. I actually turn my head and look where I’m going when I’m in reverse, and if I don’t have some steering wheel positioned at 12 O’clock for my left hand to use then I’m not buying the vehicle.
I am as well, but if Mazda keeps to their more recent behavior that engine will be reserved for automatics only, if they ever drop it into a car that has a manual as an option to begin with. Just like with the AWD option for the Mazda3.
Eh, 6'1". The little 2.0L SkyActiv motor didn’t really have much power either, but you could flog the hell out of it and it always felt eager for more. God, I miss that car. My wife still has her ‘15 Impreza Hatch with the 5MT but I’m pretty sure when we leave Hawai’i in a couple years she’ll be due for an upgrade,…
The thing nobody ever seems to remember about swapping out for LED bulbs: They need to be adjusted/aimed to be properly effective.
I’m kind of the same way about my Mazda3 Hatch (RIP). Objectively speaking, there was nothing special about that car, but it handled like it was on rails and the 6MT was fantastic. Best car I’ve ever owned, and may ever own (at least until I build that LS3 ND-1 MX-5 that I want to build). When I was looking for a car…
Fun... sedan... by the time you get to that point there may not be many options that check both of those boxes available for purchase. No hatchbacks? Low rear roof-lines of sedans suck for anyone in the back seat taller than 5' 6" usually.
It would probably be simpler to do a full BEV-swap, and if Subie took the new platform the Solterra is based on and made a new Baja EV I’d be happy to reserve one... unless it has the same front fenders as the Solterra, then I might need a minute to think about how much it will cost to have a body shop un-fuck that…
It sounds like you’re one of those few that actually has a valid use for a full-size truck, or at least a mid-sized truck (as in, you could get away with the next size down but the larger truck actually does make things easier for your use-case). Still, most don’t even come close to using their trucks for their…
Hmm, I had no trouble at all hauling plywood/drywall with my Tacoma (pretty much the exact same size as the Colorado). All that material going to the dump, wouldn’t it be more useful as compost or mulch rather than just thrown on the pile at a landfill? Even on the .2acre lot I had in Mass, I had a 128ft^3 compost bin…
Either the MX-5 or if Subaru brings back the Baja in EV trim.
Yeah, the first-gen Tacoma’s were right there with the Chevy S-10's, the first-gen Ford Ranger’s and first-gen Dodge Dakota’s. Small, efficient, practical, and... for lack of a better term, accessible (as in ability for average Joe’s to do basic maintenance on them like oil changes and whatnot). Not only that, they…
