Could someone give me a simple explanation for why caves are almost always the average temperature of the area they are found in BUT mines get hotter the deeper you go? I would guess it has to do with ventilation but mines have to be ventilated also....

The one thing I wish they explained was how when you’re scanning you move to see the various “weak” and “strong” and where the weaknesses are. I see several divisions but I can’t get them to move over. Anyone know what I’m talking about? Like when the scanner (focus) identifies the target.
