Legendary, burned his Aflac contract to the ground making tsunami jokes when he didn’t realize most of their business came from Japan.

On the contrary, this is the most comments for a story in ages!

He shockingly didn’t mail it in for Call of The Wild, which given the CGI dogfest came of a bit of a stunner for me. Seemed to be having fun.

Not saying Logan isn’t a nob, or that he deserves the coverage. But he absolutely nailed the intended effect of wearing the stupidly expensive card- mega heel heat. Pair that with a very good match display (for an amateur) and he did his job. Hell, he got the Miz a babyface pop, that’s worth a million right there.

Nice writeup on Hustler, which I also enjoyed. It was a fun one to watch in groups so you could argue and make predictions. And I liked how he interacted with the contestants without mocking them.

One of those examples of a producer having no trust in an audience having any intelligence.

This is blatant Dirty Work erasure.

Great point. I like to read her stuff still but miss that as well. Twitter just isn't the same.

I bet. I haven’t seen any of the Disney series, but I guess on concept it’s pretty different as there is far less backstory flushed out in the movies versus scores and scores of episodes over multiple TV show seasons. Though from what I understand with how often it circles back to Skywalker stuff maybe not haha.

Completely fair, each the projects/completed shows on their own have value. It’s just every single one of them being pre-Enterprise E that drives me up the wall. It would be nice to have a storyline building on everything that came, rather than trying to weave itself into 10,000 precedents.

Quite a difference between a handful of bottle episodes and an entire multi-season storyline, but sure great point.

I’m so sick of them rehashing different versions of Star Trek’s past. Yeah, Voyager mostly was a train wreck, but TNG and DS9 show it can be done well. Move on, it’s a big universe.

👀

In Chicago mostly. Others that left outside of that area mostly did so out of solidarity/disgust. Nothing wrong with those that stayed either, bills be bills.

Different union.. I’m sure screaming SCAB at them on a day that a lot of their Chicagoland colleagues are leaving is helping though.

I was, thank you.

I’m a bit blown away with how good this album is compared to how bad or simply mediocre it could have been, just given the common turnout for these types of latter-career works. Other than the lead single I avoided listening to anything else before sitting down for my first playthrough. “No Small Thing” was the
