I had the same experiences guarding. In 10+ years I didn’t jump in once. All of my saves were while I was out enjoying the water myself. I notice this stuff because I can’t help myself from watching the water like a guard...It has now been close to 13 years since I last worked in a pool.

Where do you think we get our water FROM in the northwest?  ;)

This sucks! Just the other night I suggested leaving my grade school kids in the car for a 5 minute trip into the grocery in one of the lowest crime towns in my state. I was vetoed by the wife because “They will get to hot in the car and someone will call the cops.” It was cloudy and 65.  sigh...

Your philosophy is: “Parent appropriately for the situation”

Sorry to do this to you, but Carlin beats Pryor...

I haven’t been to a water park in decades but I can vouch for this.  You good sir or madam speak the truth.

Leaf blower seems appropriate...it being October and all. Plus with the sun not coming up for another 3 hours a perfect opportunity for the cops to (not) mistake your garden tools for a weapon and “Fear for their lives”

I (used to) like Adam Corolla. I grew up listening to him on the Radio with Dr. Drew and laughing my ass off while he prattled on as Drew tried to be serious. Good times.

Isn’t this literally the first thing our parents taught us about life in the world.

“Don’t take candy from strangers”

Can’t say I have seen any in Seattle with busted locks. The docking bikes we used to have were worthless. Made it hard to get where you were going, there were just not enough.

The bikes have Unique IDs. How hard to trace it back to the account that last rode it?

Was just thinking about this as I walked up Marion today with one right on the corner blocking the ramp from the crosswalk to the sidewalk. There are so many bikes all over I hope they are doing well. It seems that they have been beneficial to the homeless population which, in my opinion, is a good thing.

I am so sad that I FULLY get your reference. :’(

Is that other dude wearing a rasta hat/ wig? :(

I injured my hand trying to use the knife trick to remove a pit over 13 years ago. Doing things before they were cool.

Was your dad named Lawrence by chance?
