I'm originally from the small Bible Belt town he's from. He grew up in the church my grandpa went to. Nobody is defending this guy. Dude is a nut job.

So are we to the point now where we just lump every fad we might be annoyed with into the same group? Affliction guy is not murdered truck guy. He may or may not be Bro truck guy. But his truck is gonna be way more....blingy.
This. I had the dealer flip my stockers white letters in before I took deliver of my Ram in '09.
So I'm guessing this means they typically edit in fake engine noise when they do auto features?
How in the hell did he get that shot over Levert? What a shot. Crazy game.
Hitting deer is not as big of a deal here(although I've had to slam on the brakes on the very busy M59 by MCC a few times for them), but on the other side of the state and "up north" it is. As a high schooler in Middleville I actually had a deer HIT ME. I was literally driving in a 25 and two were running along side…
People haven't gotten better, I agree with you there. But the Ying to your "Monday morning quarterbacking" Yang is that history is written by the winners and we too often put them in an inaccurate light. I don't think it's healthy for a society to put a guy like Ford up on a pedestal to worship without exploring his…
I can't really point to a specific book or article on the Fords that shaped my views, but it you work in the industry and live in the area you can pick up certain things if you're paying attention.
English comprehension, my friend. He didn't say he was THE most controversial automotive figure. Just said he was, and I quote, "one of the most." Not sure that's really a debatable statement, unless he was defining the field to a specific number.
Nice work man. Love this. As a Detroiter that learned his trade in the auto industry(Chrysler) it's fascinating to me. We have annual passes to The Henry Ford and they're pretty open about the good and the bad of the story of Ford, even getting in to the overpass incident during the video intro to the Rouge tour.…
At a ceremony in Dearborn, Michigan, Henry Ford is presented with the Grand Cross of the Supreme Order of the German Eagle on his 75th birthday. Henry Ford is the first American recipient of this, an honor created a year earlier by Adolf Hitler. This is the highest honor Nazi Germany could give to any foreigner and…
Some engines for the Jeeps were built at the Mack plants a block north of JNAP, but I think the last 4.7 rolled off the line last year. Hopefully they revamp those facilities for new mills. I got my start as a millwright apprentice at Mack 2 back in November 2002.
I worked at Chrysler for 7 years and saw the same shit. You're still an *asshole.
Lol....you got that right. Shit, I tell people and they still don't believe me, it's all good.
The R/Ts use to have a higher stall converter. Pretty mild, but higher than stock. Not sure if the new ones do. Can't get the 4.10 gears anymore either due to the 8spd trans.
Even conservatively they'll do mid to low 14s in good DA. I have a R/T, the only real performance difference between the Tradesman and that would be the torque converter. The R/T also has 4.10 gears, but 17s and 3.92s more or less equal the 20s and 4.10s. My truck ran 13.7s stock.
It's "new" but not that new. Dimensionally it's the same, steering is the same(I think), suspension is the same.
I've got an rcsb Ram, a '09 R/T. It drives a lot smaller than it looks...it actually maneuvers oddly well in "parking lot" and city situations. Turning radius is really sharp.
The Hemi powered Tradesman with 17" wheels + 3.92 gear is the best straight line sleeper you can get right now. It'll run 13s all day long and nobody would give it a second look.
truth!
