I’ve always liked the design of the Plymouth Arrow hatchback.

They were typically going for $10 to $12 K used in the early 1990s if they were ín really good shape. Lesser ones in the $5-$6 K range. They are a collectors item now so its pretty much whatever you are willing to pay for the “dream”. However there are much better cars to be had.

The top of the headrests are holding the latch plates with the belt webbing being pulled out from the rear seat quarter panel trim. The latch buckles are in between the seats.

The Riviera was the feature car of this platform redesign which had nicer body styling with flowing contours, many rounded corners and edges and a nice hood. The Eldorado just had featureless slab sides and a flat plane hood. The Eldo looked like it was diced removing the dramatic powerdome hood and bladed fenders

The first thing I noticed. The Eldorado Touring Coupe had blacked out headlamp bezels. This just looks like someone wanted to use up new original parts from that nstead of making it chrome correct. It’s just lazy not to paint the bumper fillers to match.

Ford Granadas had more comfortable seats than these unsupportive overstuffed benches. And these seats were positioned funny in a way they tilted to one side making them awkward to sit in.

I had two different Eldo convertibles in my household back in the early 1990s and they were dog slow. The accelerator pedal was sprung so stiffly on these that they were uncomfortable to drive. These handled mmuch better than their oversized predecessors but they were still wallowy. There were other Cadillacs in the

Does it use a bottle of RID for paint sealant?

It just looks like a forgettable XXL version of a Grand Cherokee. There is more distinction with a Navigator or Expedition. There is nothing about this design that captures the essence of the original Grand Wagoneer.

Back when Oldsmobile meant something. Then the 80s happened and everything is a Cutlass.

My Granny bought a green 1973 Type 3 fastback automatic when it was brand new. As a kid I used to play with the spotlight not really knowing what purpose it served. It was not until many years later that I discovered it was used to illuminate the heater controls.

Buh buh buh look how many were fooled into thinking the Taurus ten years later was an Audi!😜

It’s not as obvious now, but all of Ford’s previous cars were heavily sculpted Coke bottle shapes. The Granada was a sharp contrast in comparision with it’s boxy shape that was more European in line with the basic look of a Mercedes at that time. The NOVA quartet followed a similar formula for 1975 by eliminating the

It’s old news that the next Mustang is going to share a platform with the RWD Explorer. It has been in development for quite awhile before the RWD Explorer was released to the public.  It was decided to continue the current Mustang longer than expected. Sharing a “platform” these days is not literally building the

Concealed headlamps always win!

The first time Ford used the “Victoria” as a naming convention was in 1932 on the Ford Victoria 2-door coupe. Ford’s 1954 Crestline Skyliner was replaced in 1955 by the Fairlane Crown Victoria Skyliner, based on the new 1955 Ford design.

Ford Topaz was the Mexican market version which was the hybrid of the Mercury Topaz with a Ford Tempo front end. Topaz sedan models had four window greenhouses while US and Canadian Tempos had the extra 6th window in the quarter panels.

They were in fact model names which represented price points and option levels on a common full-sized body design. It’s incorrect to say they were not model names.

It has never been confirmed by Ford that that LTD stood for anything in particular but it was always assumed “limited”. In the 1970s, Ford of Australia promoted their Falcon based LTDs in brochures as “Lincoln Type Design” since Lincolns were not sold there and they wanted to associate their LTDs with the same kind of

Torch definitely needs to stick to his obsession with tail lights. This Bronco deviant makes not for an LTD in any way, shape or form.
