Uh? Been reading gizmodo for years, and they have their ups and downs when it comes to Apple related news. Ive just been noticing some sort of anti-apple tone recently. Not the actual report but the way it is reported.

I think it was obvious that my point wasnt the actual report but the tone of the articles that have been posted recently regarding Apple. Like they hate Apple or something, specially all Google Maps articles posted are just another Maps bashing with no other real purpose.

you guys have been on anti-apple campaign as of recently. Whats up with that.

TTC Watch and its the best app you can get for TTC directions. Google maps is rendered useless by this app mainly thanks to all the GPS tracking and routes for every single TTC vehicle.

Apple Maps has fixed pretty much every issue I had. Ive been using GMaps and honestly i find it slow and not very responsive compared to Maps. I have been comparing the two since I got it and I havent found a reason yet to use Google maps except for public transit, then I realized that all the times were not

i got that i just dont remember the 4 having issues with wifi specifically just cellular.

Apple's iPhone does not have an issue with wifi reception as far as im concerned.

This so incredibly true that i almost cried

Apple maps is the best thing that's ever happened to Google Maps, the media no longer cares when Google Maps f###s up only when Maps does. Maps obviously isn't as good as GMaps but this particular example could have easily been a GMaps case like many other issues reported in the past with Google's Mapping Service.

Rectangles cover a wider area(take up more space)... also basic geometry.

I say lets all take pictures of ourselves naked and post them online. Maybe then it will stop being such a big deal?

i was drinking a protein shake while reading this...thanks giz

HSPA+ ain't LTE. That's like saying that there's a workaround to make the first wii video signal to output 1080p.

in some countries the iPhone costs more than it does in North America Im not sure why that is. The Galaxy Nexus retailed for over $600 when it came out if Im not mistaking, it is only logical if price dropped a year later. Besides Googled changed their pricing strategy and the current Nexus should be around $350.

Why do Americans act so surprise? That's pretty much the same price the unlocked iPhone has always been for many years(in other countries). That's also prett much the same price the GNexus and the GS3 retailed for unlocked.

With no LTE. Wasn't that like a huge deal?

The 5 can be all scratched up and it will still look and feel a million times better than a plastic phone.

I've had my iPhone for 2 months as well and without a case and it is nowhere near this level of damage. Mind you I got Apple Care+ so I don't even take care if it, I've dropped it i up it in my backpack full of wires and stuff. I also use it consistanly as a test unit(Im a mobile dev). It's not flawless, there's a
