not only bother with it, but jam it down your throat. you want leather? oh, that only comes in a package that includes gps. same for sunroof, etc. i don’t want gps. give me a quality control center that has connectivity and a screen, and audio, and I’m good.
1. Comfort is subjective to an extent, much like your subjective impression of handling. It is also measurable through NVH?
Your comments are subjective as well (ex. merging). The TC is one of the slowest passenger vehicles on the market. I’m safe in saying it is underpowered and could easily have trouble in that department.
Reading comprehension ? I said never less than 20mpg and its brand new and still breaking in, so I expect it to improve slightly. Meanwhile the TC will only be at sixty 10+ seconds later... good luck with that highway merge. I couldn’t handle that little power myself so I never considered TC and would never consider…
That is just not true.
I agree, but have you priced land cruisers.... it is like they’re made of gold.
Problem with Transit is that Odyssey/Sienna/Sedona are much more comfortable. We own a 2018 Sienna. It is great for utility.
On public roads, where other people’s health and safety is a factor, I disagree wholeheartedly.
Yes, it looks great. It has aged well. Most people look at me like my car was very expensive. I have grey with grey interior, carbon/black/aluminum trim. Dash cracked unfortunately last year.
I agree with 3g Acura TL (and much of this list). I own a 05 6mt Tl and it drives great. Its reliable. Its quick. Its fun to drive. Handles well. Etc... I don’t think it’ll compete with the latest M offerings, but its fun to drive and it was much, much cheaper than any new sports sedan.
Might want to search common problems for these before buying. A family member has had an STS for years and always has odd reliability stuff happen on the regular, like one of the doors not working, car having to be towed for a short, etc.
Or, you know, need a vehicle type that Toyota makes and want a low cost of ownership.
I agree it skews the results, but it can be difficult to track. Does a Scion tC correlate to a FRS? Over a 15 year period, I do not think to many major models changed all that much - a silverado is still a silverado
I think it also correlates strongly to reliability. I own a Toyota Sienna because it meets my needs, is reliable and should last a long time, so my investment into that vehicle goes much, much further than ‘average’ brands. Once you need a van, utility and reliability fits the bill
This is a good suggestion. The fusion drives better than you’d expect in my experience.
came here looking for this. a land cruiser never dies.
David, please see this. Fun is fun, and old Jeeps sure can be fun... but safety has to be a priority. Please be safe out there. Please drive safe vehicles.
fellow 3g tl sedan owner here. i think it was the last sport + entry lux performance acura that was worthwhile. i keep hoping they’ll come in strong. drove the tlx and was disappointed- so much less driver invovlement than my 3g tl.
High tension van. (side note: if you haven’t seen high tension, and love horror, check it out)
