I’ve seen Gaga live in venues as small as the back of a bar to as large as baseball stadiums. She’s worth it and always delivers no matter what. I’ve heard nothing but raves about both parts of her Vegas residency, though I’m not going until November.

My husband’s Christmas gift to me was a pair of Jazz & Piano tickets. We don’t head to Vegas until June, but I’m expecting it to be a highlight of my year.

It’s the only threat he has left to make.

In New York real estate parlance that’s called ‘making a deal’.

We’ll see. At some point Senate Republicans will be fed up with his shit, especially as he makes it more and more clear how weak he is.

So, is he pulling all this shit AGAIN because of what’s happened with Roger Stone and the latest bits and bobs out of the Mueller report? To deflect, or bait and switch? Because it seems to me that he’ll do anything to keep the focus off the investigation, and frankly what better way to push the news cycle away from

It’s all acting. They’re both trained and proven actors, and clearly they know what the audience wants from them (could barely hear them sing for all the pandemonium). I’m certain they’re friendly, but there’s nothing spontaneous about that performance.*

The thing about seeing any Gaga live performance is, besides all the hype and showbiz....she always slays as a singer and musician. Love to hear her sing, just her at the piano.

Find yourself someone who looks at you the way Bradley looks at Gaga when she first starts singing.

I really miss the pre-kinja days. I feel like we are awkwardly stuck between shitty!discus and a forum. Why does kinja exist independently as its own platform yet it is so so bad. Who wants this.

Oof. I hope it’ll go well (husband’s root canal and crown did). As odd as this sounds, if weighted blankets are comforting for you, ask the dentist, after x-rays are taken, if you can just leave the lead apron on during the procedure— it basically is a weighted blanket and may help with anxiety!

Welcome! I honestly felt weird when I first started in here, but this community has filled in a niche for me andet me make some new internet friends.

Tonight I’m braving the cold and the social anxiety to go to a blind wine tasting event hosted by a rather prominent online dating site. I’m not much of a wine aficionado, and the prospect of sizing up and being sized up decidedly does not put me at ease. But fuck it: This is where I’m at right now, so why not?

I almost impulse bought a cheap, plastic skull cup from the dollar store. I kinda regret not getting it now. Even if I never used it, I think I still want to have it.

Husband’s dental surgery went well, and since he had taken time off for the dental visits we went out and about when he was feeling more comfortable, which was nice. Ended up making an odd impulse purchase— despite my usual aversion to blind-boxed toys on principle, a store was getting rid of the last 4 of a set of

Anyone else in the frozen hellscape part of the world? It’s like being in freaking Snowpiercer, minus Chris Evans (why is there never Chris Evans IRL)? I am thankful for my family and job that keeps me tethered to a cold place, but I am gradually learning that I am not a winter person.

I just wanted to post because I’ve never been this early for a Saturday Night Social before. I used to read a lot of Jezebel but I’ve since left for reddit. The community here sometimes felt a bit too clique-ish to me on various notes.

Well, now I want Oreos.
