Artist absolutely can fight Ticketmaster on this bullshit but they don’t because they also benefit from hype and instantly sold out shows while Ticketmaster gets all the hate. It’s still mostly Ticketmaster’s problem for allowing ridiculous resales but artists have some power and responsibility here too. Pearl Jam

I totally agree. I find it funny when people say they don’t like their new stuff at some point they usually tend to add they haven’t actually listened to it or if they have they’ve only listened to it once.

Yes. Why can’t we at least have a compromise. I’ve been in income based repayment for 8 years and not made a dent in my loans. I’m finally making decent money but still not enough to afford the full payment. If I stop income based repayments I’m pretty much starting over with the payments at this point. I honestly

I really like Lume too. It smells really weird but it works great and keeps your leggings from getting the legging funk. If I’m going straight from a workout to some other activity, like a 5k to brunch, I don’t feel like I have to immediately change or shower between.

We added a half bath to our tiny house a year ago after living here over a decade. It was money very well spent. Of course the toilet in our main bathroom immediately and irreparably broke leaving us again with only one bathroom for two months.  Worst two months of my life.

I saw a house like this on Reddit recently and my mind was absolutely blown. What if you have guests and someone’s in the shower from the guest bathroom but you have to go? I can’t believe someone not only came up with that idea, but it was apparently somewhat popular.

His student loan platform, if actually be enacted as written, ain’t bad. It’s automatic enrollment into income based repayment based on 5% of income that does not require the borrower to pay taxes in the amount forgiven at the end of the repayment period. It’s not as progressive as I want, but I could live with that.

Walking has kept me sane. I’m lucky that my neighborhood sidewalks are pretty empty before dawn and I’ve been taking long walks around my neighborhood for years. Since I can’t go to the gym now, it feels like a life like. Last week a man in a car slowed down as he passed me and then turned around to follow me. I had

I actually do go to the gym or work out most days but even when I don’t waking up early, usually between 430 and 5 is great. I don’t have to be at work until 8 and gotten work from home. I can get a bunch of chores done, or binge Netflix for a couple of hours which just feels nice and is something I rarely have time

I haven’t tried a knock off one but I got my Phillips one used on eBay for about $50 and it’s been going strong for like 3 years now. It was well worth the investment and if it ever dies on me I’ll immediately buy a new one even if I have buy it full price.

My alarm clock was a life changer. I don’t even need to set it most days anymore, I just wake up around 430 which is sometimes earlier than I want. On rare days when I actually wake up to the alarm clock it’s nice because it’s not jarring like a regular alarm but also disorienting because it so rarely happens.

I need to exercise an Abnormal amount to be able to sleep at all.“

I’ve been on adderall most of my adult life, I turn 33 tomorrow. It sucks sometimes, you have to manage the side effects, but it makes my life better. I’m higher functioning, I can deal with work, I excercise regularly, sometimes I manage to keep my house clean for entire days at a time. If you get put on it make sure

I have adhd, your symptoms sound remarkably similar to mine. Hyper focus, which is sounds kind of like what you’re doing at work, is a common symptom. The adhd subreddit is pretty great by the way.

Thank you so much. I found your response enormously comforting when I woke up this morning. I found out she passed away last night. I will be looking out for somewhere to donate in her memory, thank you that is a good suggestion.

I saw someone get hit by a car yesterday, or the immediate aftermath. It was awful. I thought the car that hit the person and 2 other cars were already stopped to help. Someone was already on the phone with the police so I didn’t stop. I can’t stop seeing it. The story made the news and it was actually quite a bit

I always go with year-o because that’s what most restaurant owners call it around here. When I ordered take out from a new place called Pizza and Gyro and they answered the phone “Pizza and Gy-ro” I felt like my whole world was turned upside down.

I’m wondering if I’ve been grayed? I’ve been here for years but haven’t come around as much recently because of all the kinja issues.

I’d give you 2 stars if I could. I love where I live. I don’t love the politics of most people, but many of us are working really hard to change that.

I was born in South Carolina and now reside in East Tennessee. It’s hard to know which one I should claim as home.
