Came here to say the same thing but likely much less eloquently, lol

Quality and quantity are two different things.

What’s the joke?

They did prove their point though: The point of this AI is to *not hire artists in the first place*

It’s working exactly they way they want.  And that’s the problem.

Have you taken art study classes? You don’t just look at the paintings, you talk and hear about their context and the techniques used, and things like perspective and where’s the vanishing point and WHY the painters did these things.

Overtly defining AI-generated images as “plagiarism” seems like a slippery slope that could lead to any art provably influenced by another person’s art as plagiarism.

“one step toward true creative freedom,” that would democratize the animation industry.”

Man this sounds suspiciously like some of the stuff that crypto bros would often say on Kotaku.

Less-labor intensive? The purpose isn’t to make art easier, it’s to steal their work altogether and push them away - which they are already doing. Making their labor obsolete is just another pro-corporate convenience.

Oh, did I say that? I meant “steal from passionate creators who built their own skills and call it your own work”, hence the “War on Artists - because they’re ‘privileged’”.

Told you that these corporate/tech bro shills are trying to turn creative human labor obsolete through AI. There’s a reason they’re trying to criminalize artists in general - they’re forcing an ‘easy’ and ‘ethical’ narrative that benefits only them. For instance, they call artist “privileged” because they built their

No, only half the game was good—the side quests. Slow down and read next time.

Regarding Iron Bull, I think the problem isn’t Iron Bull or “Demands of the Qun” so much as it is a more general issue with how the Qunari have been portrayed.

The LATE 00's? You’re crazy. We used JRPG in the 90s and used it to describe a different kind of game from a CRPG - c meaning ‘classic’ or ‘computer’.

There’s never been a WRPG

The answer depends on where the respondent lives. To me, an American it definitively not anime.

It’s not that confusing. CRPG refers to RPGs that were designed for PCs (Personal Computers). In a modern context, it typically refers to isometric, party-based, stats-driven games featuring RTwP or turn-based combat and provide a lot of mechanical and narrative agency to players. Anyone familiar with the term

Was this really one of Steam’s most hotly-anticipated games? I’ve seen you write is a couple times, but I can confidently say I’ve never seen it in any context but all of its controversies.  Were people really looking forward to it that much?

From the reviews I’ve read, it seems that calling this pro-Soviet is about as accurate as calling Bioshock pro-Ayn Rand just based on setting. But I haven’t played it myself so I can’t say how accurate that is.

It’s pretty easy for Europeans and Americans to criticize people in Russia for not using their platform to condemn Putin and the war... mostly cause they’re in no actual danger of having their life ruined or being murdered by the FSS.

I would hope—and to be fair I think most are—people who are critical of Mundfish on this matter are just as critical of Activision for this very reason.

I was often harassed online for using AI tools...
