These “how do you explain this” bits of your post are you just not understanding/lying.
Ah yes, the propaganda that claims we have nano machines, killer death robots and magic powers in our hands. The same could be said for all the Bioshock Infinite etc. ITS A GAME it doesn’t have to have deeper meaning than that jfc.
How exactly does this game get “a pass” when there was enough controversy that the composer donated his entire salary to charity?
To be fair to him, he's a freelancer and even the best game composers aren't exactly kicking back on their royalty checks. He probably didn't dig too deeply, and it also sounds like he got the gig before the invasion. And the studio may not be in a great spot either from the sound of things.

Think you might have misread my tone here, friend.
? I think you’re reading to much into my comment. I didn’t play the game but thought it was supposedly very heavy on narrative cutscenes. So spending a whole episode (instead of a part) seems like a bad idea from a pacing standpoint for the series as a whole. And whether it would have been better spent maybe on…
Team Fortress 2 usually has a lot more players on it than Destiny 2.
How does it actually play now? I mean like, any one play regular in 2022 and 2023?
“meaning you can effectively get one of the most anticipated games of 2023 for just $40 if you’re willing to effectively buy another game at full price.”
Not sure why you’re saying fans like it’s ironic. Yes, if the sequel to a series they’ve been waiting on for years comes out and is a fundamentally different type of game, many of them will be disappointed. That’s not new or hard to understand.
1. No. Stop it.
I don’t think there’s anything racist about it. It’s just a kind of smug looking picture, very meme-ready.
“Looks like the most popular choice is to say the episode had no purpose.”
But that completely misses the point. As some have pointed out online, including streamer Hasan “Hasanabi” Piker, the real issue isn’t MrBeast’s philanthropy but rather the pay-walled access to a simple surgery that could have healthy, long-lasting, positive effects on an individual’s eyesight.
