To be fair to him, he's a freelancer and even the best game composers aren't exactly kicking back on their royalty checks. He probably didn't dig too deeply, and it also sounds like he got the gig before the invasion. And the studio may not be in a great spot either from the sound of things.

? I think you’re reading to much into my comment. I didn’t play the game but thought it was supposedly very heavy on narrative cutscenes. So spending a whole episode (instead of a part) seems like a bad idea from a pacing standpoint for the series as a whole. And whether it would have been better spent maybe on…
