Interesting! Downloading it right now. I'll save it for a late night soon.

I'm very, very hopeful for the new Silent Hill. The first three games and the PSP title (and okay, maybe the 4th) were so incredible at getting under your skin slowly. All of a sudden you'd just be fucking creeped out as shit. It was amazing.

Same here. I still do the headphones in a dark room thing for both scary movies and games, but it's the rare event that something gets to me.

Isn't that strange? I remember being so creeped out by Silent Hill on the original PSP, while playing with headphones, that I actually had to put it down for a while.

White Day, eh? I'll have to check that out.

I have the exact opposite problem: nothing seems to scare me any more. Not horror films, or video games. Problem is, I crave that horror style sense of fear. I get extremely excited when something gives me the willies, these days.

Whoah. That I did not hear.

Fair point. Pretty surprised he managed to land that role in Fury (which was supposed to be pretty decent). I guess sometimes if you still have the talent, the PR doesn't matter. So who knows. Maybe this guy will find the dress that says yes.

Hollywood celebrities get a bit more leeway than indie game developers, I think.

True. It's all a matter of scale, exposure, and demand.

Yeah, regardless of how talented he might be, it's going to be hard for him to land a job after that.

Gotta give Mikami props for taking that stance. It's a shame the story in his Resident Evil games has never been particularly engaging, though - it's cheese through and through. I hear the Evil Within isn't particularly strong on the story front, either.

They've already covered that.

It's not compatible with the Xbox One controller, from what I heard. I'll have to check on that again.

What a valuable contribution, sir! Thank you so much for that incredibly enlightening comment. Bravo! I'm sure there will be many standing ovations ahead.

Yikes.

Man, they were asking for a LOT of money. $1.4 mil is nothing to scoff at (and Planetary Annihilation has received some pretty lukewarm reviews, to boot).

Nice - good to hear! I'm planning on picking up a PS4 once Bloodborne drops, and I've managed to save enough pennies.

This is one of the many ways I fail at stereotypical manhood; I'm not even close to "handy."

Yeah, the thumb sticks are waaaaaay too loose. That's my main complaint about the PS3 controller. Still haven't used the PS4 controller, so I don't know if they've fixed that.
