Well, I think it’s hard to describe the appeal when he just doesn’t appeal to you. It sounds like his humor is just not to your taste - which is totally fine - but it’s difficult to explain why it is to other people’s.

I always play every game of XCOM on iron man, and name and fashion all of my soldiers after people I know in real life. Makes decisions much more weighty for me, and leads to some interesting (and heartbreaking!) narratives.
