This was the first one I disagreed with. First is not synonymous with “most important”. However, “foremost” also means “first” so if there’s any repetition it’s there. Foremost DOES mean both chronologically and important. So it might make more sense to only use foremost.

Street Fighter invented the concept of fighting game “combos” though. I believe it also was the first game to have dedicated “punch/kick” buttons. Possibly even the concept of a fighter roster and selectable fighters.

That is already a thing and it is called Roundguard

I still very much dislike Rockstar’s business model these days of, “Release great single player game, keep it alive as an ‘online service’ and put all effort into the online mode”.

I had “uncomfortably oversexualized” feelings when playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2, is that maybe it? Half the cutscenes, the camera just focuses on the main girl’s boobs. It has a kind of similar art style.

I fully agree with you here. Saying a dumb thing a while ago shouldn’t immediately disqualify you from working. I actually really like that they changed his reporting structure and gave him trainings to improve. Isn’t that what we should be striving for? Self-improvement instead of just “canceling” people and

I think it’s because he exudes a similar kind of “wholesome” energy that Trebek did. And many millennials have fond memories of Reading Rainbow.

I need some kind of guide for this game. I’ve played a few hours and I’m just sort of chaotically playing.

IMO it’s also largely due to irresponsible reporting in the media. I heard next to nothing about the comment until someone was offended by it and then suddenly there’s outrage everywhere, fueled by, well, articles like this one. The headline of this article is:

As in, when he ults he announces himself to the room first?

Why are we tearing down Richard Branson here?

I’m in a suburb, but one zoned Rural-Residential. I am in a similar boat! We have part of a small wood on our property. Worse, though, in our front yard are two huge trees, intertwined. Literally twisting around each other. One is alive, one is dead. Removing both of these would be ridiculously expensive. Also,

I’ll take it a step further - I hate that people can/do buy individual cards in a CCG like Magic.

I agree with their decision then, I much much prefer to play as a “character” in a game rather than that awkward “I can make myself in a video game! Wait why do I just stand around silently and passively while everyone else is talking all the time?” motif that seems popular in games.

The thing I hate about TikTok is because it can be summed up as “Gen Z having the same arguments and discussions as every other generation, but publicly and thinking they invented it”. I know every generation thinks they invented everything at some point, but it’s never been so public. Stuff like the popcorn thing has

Yeah, we were nervous about switching to formula full time because our entire society seems to say it’s worse. In the end though I think it’s almost better, because we can know exactly how much food he’s getting, compared to his needs, and he can get into a solid schedule.

I have a similar story to the first one (milk allergy).

I tried to play Andromeda not once, not twice, but thrice, and each time I was met with game-stopping bugs that meant I could not continue and had to restart the game from the beginning as not even previous saves allowed me through.

Agreed, NMS is a game that to me is fun for like, an hour or two. The progression never felt “worth it” and the base building is cool but I never wanted to really “settle down” and there didn’t seem to be a real point to base building anyway.

Yes! This!
