I’m fine believing that most of the xoJane pieces written lately are actually by a bunch of dudes in a conference room

That’s my dad’s name

I don’t watch it religiously like I used to, but there are still a few cast members I like (mostly the ladies, they’ve gotten rid of most of the male cast members I liked)—will definitely be watching next weekend for Lin-Manuel Mirandaaaaaaa

YES I was just thinking about that

Amy Poehler more like Bae-my Poehler

miss these two

ugh, these boys.

I can’t imagine (and hope I never know) how terrified she must have been.

“I want you to know that I was going to do, like, a floor routine on the way out with Simone,” he said. “But we decided it was a little too crowded.”

Came here to say this! I lahhhve Ugly Betty, we don’t need this other thing

(not gonna lie, I’ve been known to pile up the leftovers and eat it with a fork when we’re out of buns)

I love a pulled pork sandwich on a bun with a SMIDGE of bbq sauce--the meat should be seasoned well enough to stand on its own with only a taste of sauce necessary.

When my sister was a little kid she looked EXACTLY like my cousin at the same age. She would point to pics of my cousin and think they were her! Now they’re both adults and look different, but it was WEIRD.

I really want to do SNM for bf and my anniversary in Januaryyyyyyy

I’m suggesting it to my bf as an anniversary outing this coming January--they do a ticket that includes a prix fixe dinner at the restaurant. It’s kind of pricey, definitely just something to do for a special occasion

My bf and I plan to get married in the next few years and we both want kids.

An acquaintance from college has a degree in elementary education and worked as a teacher for about a year until she and her husband started having a kids and is now a stay at home mom--with the costs of childcare and a teacher’s salary, she can’t afford to NOT be a stay at home mom. And this is in a more rural area,

Well, I’m shocked.

Really impressed in the strides dinosaurs are making these days, going to law school and becoming billionaires

It’s a physical one, one of my friends started it and a group of our mutual friends meet up every few months to discuss the books! It’s a fun time, and if you have a group of ladyfriends with similar spooky interests I highly recommend this kind of book club. The first one we read was The Girls, by Emma Cline!
