Bell Witch!!!! I grew up in Kentucky, about three or so hours north of Adams. I did a paper on the Bell Witch in high school!! Still haven’t been to Adams, but my friend did and took some pics at the cave, got some orbs and shit.

A while back I watched The Nightmare, a documentary on sleep paralysis—they do reenactments of what the different people interviewed reported seeing. I had to watch it in three parts because it was terrifying. Sometimes I go to sleep worried that tonight’s the night I start experiencing sleep paralysis.
When my sister was a kid she would sleepwalk into my parents’ bedroom and just stand there. Motionless. At the side of their bed.

The Egypt Game remains one of my favorite ever childhood books—that and The Witches of Worm were my entry into spooky things! I remember The Witches of Worm legitimately terrifying me, but I loved it :)
