Actually it sounds like maybe you don’t know what diversity means if you think the only classification of models is “white” or “other.”

I think it’s hilarious how the blacks think we should set up 50/50 quotas from everything from college to the Emmys when they only account for around 13% of the population.

Neither did I, until I asked a few people who worked in the industry and was told that fashion models, in particular, are chosen for height and lack of curves, not beauty, per se. Clothes hang better off a manequin- something along those lines.

77.7% as of 2013

Every city’s diversity numbers improved except for New York’s, which went down from 31.9% to 30.3%

Designers like thin models because their curves are less and the clothes look more like they do on the hangers when people buy them.

Ninety-seven percent of West’s cast was comprised of models of color, followed by shows from Kimora Lee Simmons (82%) and Ashish (75%).

BMW from before the 2000's? I would agree.

Yeah he really has said some off color shit the past few years and does seem to have a view strict idea for how black women “should” be, I avoid his stuff now because theres always these off color jokes and they don’t feel like satire, you know? They really seem to be how he feels and its off putting. It’s also sad

He is more progressive, but if you go back and watch any of his old stand up routines there’s a pretty clear disdain for women, underlying some of his jokes, especially black women who don’t fit into his standard of how they should behave in his view kinda thing.

God damn it Netflix. Get your shit together... you almost lost Scrubs, then you lost Psych and all because you want to be the HBO of streaming media when everyone just wants you to be the Blockbuster of it...

So why did you miss the weld?

we all appreciate the insighy as to how such an issue could have occurd.

Perhaps I could give an insighy. I work for BMW at this very plant and if something threw up a red flag and somehow made it passed an inspection, it could’ve made it to a customer.

Directing them to do what? Point the cameras at the person on stage? Turn the microphones on? It seems like editing would be 1000x more important than “directing.”

hes not funny. Remember this?

Rock was nominated for an Emmy for directing Amy Schumer’s HBO’s standup special.

This would’ve made sense had it happened ten years ago. You know, when he was actually funny and not the bitter, misogynistic, Black woman hating POS he is now.
