This is an astronomically bad take. I would love to explain why, but I haven’t gotten a reply on a comment on this site in longer than I can remember.

The LSD on the base model is a big deal. You’re completely right to highlight that.

As more cars migrate to steer-/brake-by-wire,
I was, first of all, a German car fan. But once my skill advanced past “taking it to the dealer” and instead doing everything -and I mean everything- myself, I can’t stand them. Once you get into actually looking at the nuts and bolts of the design philosophies... there’s no comparison. You couldn’t pay me to own…
Hell fucking yes.
ohhhhhhhh I get it. The reason to do this on a highway instead of a parking lot or backroad is that it’s much harder to be physically caught. You have a huge backup of traffic behind you, so police can’t get in, and a massive open stretch of highway in front for you to get away.
This is a great idea because it will strongly incentivize lighter cars! (yes, /s)
Miata in base trim
Wow, the two GTR’s they have are *identical* Regal Red/Ivory. What are the odds?? I thought it was the same car listed twice, but the VINs are different...
....You’re saying this like it’s a bad thing?
My 2016 (ND1) Miata is the best car I’ve driven, at least in terms of pure joy. I’ve had extensive experience with over three dozen different sports cars of various kinds, and the Miata still sits on top. It’s unique in terms of just how much fun it is to drive. Every school dropoff, shopping run, whatever, is a…
Really, it doesn’t even need to be “no rain”. Even a light-to-medium rain sees me with the top down. As long as you’re moving, you won’t get a drop on you. Once did a highway trip in a thunderstorm with the top down and I was bone dry.
Another thing to mention is that radar cruise control does a bad job distinguishing stopped objects. so... an L2 car that has stopped in-lane is now a perfect target for the next L2 car with radar cruise and a similarly inattentive driver to plow right into it.
That bringatrailer car sold for so much because it was currently legal for US import because it was on the Show and Display list, which only applies to the Midnight Purple and the M-spec Nur cars.
“only 13k” is a large number for a halo car.
Even as someone who loves modding cars: “Most of them.”
Hey, I commented about this on the new Z reveal post. Manual with radar cruise is a rarity. The new Z has it, and a few others that I know of: Ford Mustang, VW Golf, Honda Accord. Probably some BMWs/Audis. But I’m sure there are others that I don’t know about- and it’s very difficult to find them! It’s not a feature…
One thing I noticed in the reveal is that the Z seems to have Radar Cruise *and* a manual transmission. This is rarity in the car world. I know the mk7 Golf has it, I’m sure other VAG cars and BMW’s have it. I know the Honda Accord can have it. It also seems like you can get it on the Ford Mustang?
It’s exactly as promised. I'm buying.
