Oh they absolutely changed clutch stuff for gen 5, with the factory twin-plate clutch. Not surprised it feels great to drive!

Wouldn’t you say the Viper’s clutch is stiffer than the SS (with the stock return spring) though? The clutch in our gen 4 ACR is definitely smooth, and far more enjoyable than the SS, but I would say it’s significantly heavier. However, the engagement point on the Viper is way higher than the SS, which makes the…
Oh hey! Manual SS owner here. I totally agree. I like the car so much though that I’ve been trying to find solutions to it.
Begrudgingly, Grand Touring cars. The kind of car that’s meant to take on very long, boring highway drives in the highest comfort. Let the car’s systems take the stress off with radar cruise, lane assist, auto trans, etc.
At the end there, when she was walking towards the cops and they were making motions to “stop” and “turn around” and she was kind of ignoring them and gesturing towards the curb, I’d like to imagine she was saying “Why don’t I just go over here by the curb and we can all do this arrest more comfortably in the shade?”
I don’t disagree.
The Miata works because of literally every little detail about it, exactly the way it is now. It doesn’t need to be a foot longer and a couple hundred pounds heavier. Changing it in that way would ruin what it is.
No thanks
...Wait, so you think race cars can’t/don’t have stock drivetrains?
You got me! You said “street car”. My bad.
Chiming in to second this so you know you’re not alone.
People who mix up “etymology” and “entomology” bug me in ways I can’t put into words.
You’ve gotten a lot of crap on this thread, as you probably expected. Just wanted you to know, you’re not alone. For the past 4 years, I’ve dedicated a large amount of time, effort, and resources into setting up the skills and back-end required to run an in-perpetuity fleet of older cars. Aka, it’s a shop that knows…
Build your PC into a box in an adjacent room (or basement under your office!) and run the wires to your desk. The box can have nice, big commercial cooling fans that are quiet and never go bad, and you can filter the air with big AC duct filters. No dust on your PC components, ever, things stay cool, and your office…
I used to have constant mouse nests under the hood -of any car- that I parked out in my barn. What 100% solved it for me was leaving the hoods open. I guess they no longer felt safe in the engine bay with it so "exposed". Been years now, no more mouse damage!
The XJR-12D was headed down the Hillclimb course just beyond the Flint Wall in Goodwood’s timed shootout when the vehicle lost control,
Just wanted to add that the ND Miata Sport trim is 2277 lbs with full fluids
What was I thinking!?
Seat-side controls. Shouldn't this be a poll!?
