Woah, woah... The big news here is that not only did you find three examples of this drivetrain layout to talk about, but TWO of them are physically present at the museum you frequent!? What an incredible museum! Do they have *everything*!? (I’ve read all your other articles)

Oh god yes. This article couldn’t have been better timed. I believe my wife is in denial about when I’m going to start carrying our kid in my brand new 2016 Miata. I’ve decided to wait until the spring thaw, but there’s no real reason why I couldn’t do it right now.

Exhaust above subframe.

I need to find more stars to give you

Negative. Not a good thing if you’re a rally team looking to develop this vehicle for competition.

I completely agree about being able to do something. But choosing not to do anything doesn’t necessarily have to be as a result of denial! It might be, for example, a judgement call based on costs involved. Or maybe it’s a disagreement on what to do in what order, or what to focus priority on.

But... acknowledging it’s happening and not caring is not “denial”. That’s apathy.

Holy crap, I am most impressed by that semi-transparent material! I’m not sure I’ve ever seen something so effective like that.

Scrolled deep through the comments to find this one. Stars for you.

To be clear, the sport model trim in the US, which is the base model (still with 2.0L 155hp engine), weighs 2277 lbs full of fuel. This is mildly significant because I wasn’t able to find any publication of the weight of this trim level.

What couldn’t have helped was that foreign object placed on the outside of the entry to the corner, which if absent would have allowed the drivers a wider approach to the apex.

You know what, I have a question about the anti-access ability provided by systems like the S-300 that’s been bothering me. I am fully aware of the incredible stated capabilities of this SAM system- it really is a serious threat to anything in the air, at nearly any altitude and speed over a huge radius. And the S-400

When the letter says that the dealer “needs to buy 6 2012 Nissan GT-R’s”... it’s pretty easy to tell it’s bullshit.

It’s a formula representing all the recent complimentary design and production philosophies Mazda has developed. Not just the engine tech, which is very impressive, but also the chassis (dramatically lighter through usage of high-strength steels and “gram strategy”) and the transmissions (more efficient and much

Today is my birthday. I’m 30 years old. I have an important meeting tomorrow and I got a Marty McFly double-tie to wear to it.

Not saying they aren’t cheating but... Tanner’s explanation is legit. In fact, I’m more surprised when I see AWD launches with all four wheels spinning perfectly together.

We do the exact same thing- basically every Wednesday night we set up a kart track in our parking lot/field and have races after we’re done working.

This is how Black Box Rally Team got started back in the day- Finger Lakes Region (FLR) Winter Rally Series TSD’s. Alvin and I drove his 2005 Evo VIII MR there from 2006 through 2009, with me codriving. We ran stock class, A-speeds (45 mph), and by the last event we did (Herbie’s Revenge 2009), we were not just 1st in
