I find it interesting that many of the same folks that mock religious folks for ignoring science, are the same folks that deny any science that supports inherent differences between genders.

princess mononoke is being released on blu-ray in japan for the first time ever this week. it's usually several months after the japanese release that disney puts its blu-rays out in the US. considering disney has a page featuring (and selling) the princess mononoke DVD on its site, i would be surprised if they didn't

I really don't know about the interest. I know there are a lot of passionate Ghibli fans out there, but I don't know exactly how many are here in NA. It's really a damn shame that the most quality stuff isn't always the most popular, but that's just how the world works I guess. If that was the case Super Mario 3D World

I appreciate that as well, except that they have already been remastered for Blu-ray in JP for quite a while now. Disney is being lazy and slow with the Blu-rays. Whether that be due to low sales or whatever, I don't know. Don't get me wrong, I like Disney, I just don't like how they are handling the Blu-ray releases

I actually think $20 is a fair price for the Blu-ray disc. If it was digital, $10 would do for me. Some of the movies are already on BD in Japan but Disney takes some time to release in North America.

I disagree. Mario 3d world is amazing, beyonetta 2 is spectacular (though not out yet.) wind waker hd is great, Mario kart as always is going to rock my world, donkey kong is coming out soon, smash bros is a system mover for me and there are some great indie games

Loving this game so much. Easily one of the best games i played this gen, its just flat out fun.

They are still manufacturing hardware because they are still profiting from it and their financials are strong.

Going third party would not necessarily make Nintendo more money. You claim that the Wii was a huge "pirate box", yet the Wii had 3 games sell over 30mil units and another 4 games over 20mil. Even Call of Duty, thought of as one of the highest selling series' of all time, usually gets low to mid 20mil from all

Also check out Nintendo Land, Monster Hunter, Lego City, Wii Sports Club, Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympics, Assassin's Creed 4, Deus Ex, Earthbound, Sonic Racing Transformed, Call of Duty (Blops2 & Ghosts) for two screen multiplayer.

Why is it unfortunate? That's the path Nintendo has been on for nearly 2 decades and it's serving them quite well. Do you really want a third console for FPS games? Is that really necessary? I don't think so. However, I do think a Nintendo (or Nintendo-like) console is necessary for the industry.

Nintendo has been in that exact same position for 20 years now, according to know nothings, always 1 successful competitive product away from disaster. It was the lynx, it was the game gear, it was the PSP, it was the iphone, it was the Vita. DS was bound to fail. So was the Wii. So was the 3DS. All competed with

This is what I want, specially Ariel .

Good call. There are many fighting game series where plain flat featureless stages are desirable; Smash Bros isn't among them. Final Destination gets a pass for looking pretty, but otherwise I feel the dynamic stages are part of the entire point - it's a fighting game/platformer hybrid.

the QR code from a smartphone not working is simple: There isn't enough dynamic range in the Kinect's camera to have both the room and the QR code on the phone's light emitting screen correctly exposed at the same time. Ever tried to show someone something on your smartphone when talking to them over a webcam? You get

A new, updated, revamped mega-update to a massively popular mod qualifies as "news." Just because PM has existed for awhile doesn't mean the credibility of a journalist disappears when they post about an update, calm the hell down. Under that logic, writing articles about DLC for popular games would be crappy

It's probably because doing some special Wii U stability patch would risk C&D since there's a Wii U Smash coming.

One thing I always hated about Smash Bros, is how serious some people take it. In college, I'd watch some serious pros play the game, and they were all serious douchebags. They hogged the controllers among themselves, never letting the less skilled players, play against other unskilled players in the room, and

Mewtwo, Charizard, and Lucario should have alternate costumes with their Mega Evolutions.
