Brother, do what I did! Drink that Kool aid! Pound it down!
It’s why they don’t let me around the regional rep. When she came in after the diesels were put on stop sale and told us itll be sorted out in 3 months, I had unkind words.
Drive a Jetta S now and a 2011-2015 Jetta S. you’ll see that the 1.4t is waaaay better than the 2.slow. plus now it actually comes with shit in it aside from 4 wheels and a radio . Swing in the nearest dealer, drive an 11 to 15 Jetta S, and a new 16 or 17 S and tell me I’m wrong.
Touching on the dealer discounts, many VW stores have been losing money each month since the Diesel bs started. I’d say most but I can’t bring myself to admit it. Thankfully my dealership only went negative in July and August. That limits how much money they will lose on an individual car. Also, for some goddamn…
Corporate keeps telling us at the dealerships she’ll be able to, but the rumour mill ( notoriously unreliable but spot on with the v6 tdi) says that they have an issue fixing the passat tdis.
VW is playing super nice for customers and dealer principles. For its salespeople... for my three years with VW, the summers of 2014 and 2015 were great. Gas prices went uo, TDI sold, keeping our incomes pretty much stable year round. August of 2014 and 2015 were both my best months in terms of cars sold. My income…
I mean... depending on the adults... I’m 5'10" and I hate sitting in the back of CCs on a test drive. Headroom sucks. Nice car though.
Because that’s what all these professional shoppers buy and drive: Camry. They know the specs on a billion cars, but they always buy Camry.
Or if I didn’t pay attention to his list of demands, I’ll just tell him ill go through the order guide and email him when I find it.
Easy. For the cloth and stuff, a 2016 GTI S 4dr. If he is willing to bend on the leather, I prefer (and drive) the GLI though.
Lol you just described the thinking of every California city govt.
The trailer hitch thing is a misconception and urban legend we have to debunk constantly. The older DSGs sucked and yeah, corporate fucked up. But our gas cars have been increasing in sales out here at least with or without the TDI. And as for not buying our brand again, whatever floats your boat.
See the previous reply to a TDI comment. It didnt really affect anything.
At my store, nope. We stayed the same, regardless of TDIs or not. Most people don’t really care. Myself and others, including the GM, were brought in about a year ago to replace the old management and get the store profitable. So far, we’ve done it. Sales numbers at this store have increased.
Yep.
What brand?
How I’m spending my 4th.
In California, the reserve can only be 2 points with most banks. VW Credit and a few others only allow 1 point of reserve. If she got 14.95, it’s probably more due to her credit than anything else. APR reflects credit score. So, it’s not a real injustice to see high APRs. You get the credit score you deserve. Best…
We had about thirty of these things at my dealership for about two months or so around December and January, maybe into Feb while they did the global press release or whatever, in tents in the back of the store. Our first impressions were not quite impressed but after one of the Bentley guys took me out in one....…
