If you’re only saving $100/month, then you’re already driving too little. At current prices, the average driver is spending almost $400/month and a heavy driver could be well over $1000/month. At that point, owning an EV is an advantage, even at $60K to buy.

People put ‘em on, and people pull ‘em off, out where I live.

Sheesh! The Wrangler Unlimited with the V6 gets more than 40% better mileage!!

“Even a raise of five feet above surrounding streets built on concrete risers that wouldn’t require extensive retopology does wonders to stop people from speeding over the crossings for fear of damaging their car.”

Can’t blame the railroad for all of those deaths; sometimes people can be darned foolish when it comes to railroad tracks and will try to ‘beat the train’ even when it’s in plain sight and close enough to make you at least question your life choices. The only way to stop that kind of issue is to ensure they can’t

Most of them probably lost their jobs, relying on handouts from their “Santa.”

I can name one way to prevent crashes, though it’s only one part of a much bigger solution: Inter-vehicular/inter-Traffic Management communication. The vehicles themselves need to know what EVERY vehicle around it is doing AND needs to know what Traffic Management is doing to manage that traffic. They need to know

Granted, people are different. However, I have my entire 16,000-track music library on my iPhone and I prefer to use my phone at least for entertainment on road trips, rather than using ANY streaming service, including Apple Music. As long as I can do that in my vehicle, I’m good. But I do prefer Apple Maps over most

Been using Car Play since late ‘18 in my Colorado... definitely like it better than the on-board system but have had increasing interface issues as Car Play improves but the interface never gets updated by GM.

Why do so many drivers aim the side-view mirrors right down the side of the vehicle, instead of angled outwards to actually SEE the blind spots? I mean, you’ve got your main rear-view mirror there to watch directly behind you, the side mirrors are supposed to let you see to either side. Worse, far too many drivers

“Once the navigation is set though they are all pretty much the same.”

I would say the same for Apple Car Play. I’m already disappointed with the interface in my GM product, even WITH Car Play (and I hear that AA is having similar issues with certain GM products.)

Looks like another reason to avoid the brand.

Interesting; that looks almost identical to the Chrysler Crossfire, which DID make it into production!

Pardon me but I am forced to disagree with the author; ANY EV is better than NO EV, if we even want a chance to avert a social catastrophe.

Personally will wait and watch. I have never been a proponent of Twitter, considering the short message length and overall format as a complete waste of time. I doubt I’ll like it any better unless there are some significant changes.

Two people, two vehicles. I drive the truck because the car is at the wife’s office.

I disagree. The Fiat 500 is a blast to drive and very handy in the city. Its tiny size is ideal for whipping into tight parking and honestly doesn’t have the kind of blind spots you claim... especially if you remove the rear-seat headrests and lay the seat backs down as a load floor (can carry a surprising amount of

I don’t believe it; Tennessee finally did something right. It must be an election year, hmmm?
