That depends on how you drive it. People tend to over-drive their cars, which is what eats tires. Yes, a BEV is slightly heavier than the equivalent ICEV, but because of the placement of that weight, the car HANDLES with much tighter agility. People drive their cars faster and harder because of this handling, which is

Thank you SO much! I needed a good laugh!

Only one vehicle and two brands out of the 12 vehicles listed even got my attention: The Gladiator, and Alfa Romeo. Too bad they didn’t list the Alfa I want (Spyder).

What happened is that the plane came down hard, and apparently touched down ‘left main’ gear first... which put all the weight on that one strut and essentially drove the strut up through the wing, which means all those sparks were the engine nacelle dragging on the ground.

I’ve said elsewhere that the VWG ownership made a major mistake by firing their previous CEO; at least HE knew what the company was up against and knew better than to try and rush an incomplete product out to their customers. Now they’re in panic mode and they might NOT survive it!

I beg to differ with GM. If they abandon an interface with ACP/AA, they’re going to cost themselves a LOT of customers.

Day-um!! I wish those were available today! That’s exactly the kind of trucklet I want, though maybe with about twice the hp of the 1.6L engine.

I’ve been saying, “Trucks are getting too big” for over 20 years!

I would question that, simply because the AI hasn’t been challenged with a truly original concept. The images I’ve seen so far are all based on pre-existing concepts.

All of the things you mention would be helpful, but are not absolutely necessary. The most necessary element in making FSD work is to eliminate ALL manually-driven vehicles, thus eliminating the largest single cause of crashes--the human drivers themselves. It has been noted that with the so-called “successful”

Human drivers CAUSE crashes 99.99999% of the time.

At the moment, LEDs are a lot more energy efficient and less ‘polluting’ than any form of incandescent or even flourescent lighting, as the light can be ‘aimed’ more accurately, reducing the resultant ‘glow’ which so pollutes our night-time sky. Choosing different colors can improve that by shifting the tint and

I agree with this viewpoint completely; our trucks and SUVs have simply grown too large. they are significantly bigger in nearly every dimension than their 60-year-old predecessors.

I’m opposed to the “one body style.” I have no need for a “family” truck as my only family is my wife; I have no need for a permanent second row of seats, which simply waste usable space.

Considering that top looks pretty new and the body seems fairly clean; it looks like the seller is just trying to make their money back on what is likely to be a money pit.

Low-sulpher diesel is not globally common, there are many places where it’s not even available.

For some, that might be a great deal; for me, completely the wrong version of the Corvette

There are a few problems with your analysis, of which I’m sure you’re aware but at the same time may think they’re irrelevant. Certainly some of them could balance out but...

You’d be surprised just how practical they are. You don’t necessarily NEED a great big vehicle, especially when most of your driving is on narrow rural roads or inner city driving (such as daily commutes).

“... but then like ‘for a little bit more, i can get a car with a trunk that can hold more than a pack of gum.’
