Maybe it’s because it’s the only family movie suitable for little kids that in theatres? This seems like the kind of movie that you take kids to do they can be quiet for a couple of hours. There’s probably a good few parents napping during this

Hopefully this all leads to the Scourge inhabiting the innards of the second Death Star and dunking on Palpatine by making doors act funny.

How does combat in a souls-like shooter work? For me the heart of a Souls game is the animation based fighting where actions take time and can't be cancelled by pressing a button. The rhythm of anticipating the enemy's attacks and learning how to exploit their openings. Now to be fair I've never been good at shooters

The first game I found you absolutely needed to play with friends (preferably 2 others) to bump up the enemy count and health of them on maps. That really forced you to play more with the actual mechanics of the game and the different abilities you could apply to the guns like having one person be a Tank, one a DPS,

If they won’t keep them available to stream and won’t put out physical copies for purchase, creating your own de facto preservation society seems to simply be the right thing to do. For history’s sake, if nothing else. :)

Enjoy that streaming show but concerned it might disappear? Build your own back-ups.

He will top it.

Of all his unforced errors, this certainly feels like the dumbest.

You mean, “how you hold a bag with the label and model prominent when the bag’s manufacturer is paying you for the photo endorsement?”

The whole thing of Baruchel disliking Jonah (and the entire movie star thing they were all doing) in both the movie and real life is going to play well for him here.

i really, really wish we got the 23 jump street where they join the men in black. i thought that was such a brilliant idea and we were so close.

This news might make Kanye a Nazi again

Definitely got Justin Long confused with Jay Baruchel for a second and thought “boy they need to just investigate the lead cast of This is the End, huh?”

Just accelerate the Seth Rogen recasting by a few years!

Welp, my hope for a 23 Jump Street is officially DOA. The last one elevated the dumb comedy genre with pointed self-awareness that made it both smart and hilarious. And Ice Cube’s performance? Perfection.

<gloves off for what, really, is a friendly sparring match.>

It also didn’t do so well in Europe. Casting someone who could certainly sing but not act was part of it, along with how soulless the entire movie was.

I recently re-watched Solo, and.... it doesn’t deserve the volume of grief it gets. The actor does a fine job portraying Han at that point in his life. He’s not the grouchy always-on-the-run privateer we knew him as... he’s idealistic and romantic, trying to save people however he can. People change over time, and

I don’t get why it’s even a debate. They recast Alec Guiness and it was terrific, even if the writing & direction on the recent Obi-Wan series was dire.

I don’t even care that much if he even looks exactly like Mark Hamill, as long as whoever the new actor is can nail the same confident / optimistic / dorky / sweet
