It won’t affect the box office very much. Most dont read pop culture blogs, and most people don’t put a lot of ethical weight on attending a film.

Agreed and also: not every writer/artist/game developer is equipped to grapple with racial issues in an effective or healthy way.

And the worst part is these scenes are often the worst parts of the movie. For every memorable CGI action scene in a Marvel movie (Spiderman holding the tanker together) there are about 15 where I can’t really follow what’s happening, get bored, and nod off.
