Update (6:25 p.m.): After three hours—the same length as Colin Cowherd’s TV program—this post (and its photo of John Wall) has 58,800 views. Cowherd’s program averaged 56,778 viewers over our sample period.

Note: We once analyzed minute-by-minute ratings of ESPN programs when Jason Whitlock appeared on them (as a guest, or hosting PTI, etc). We didn’t finish that project because there were bigger issues to deal with, but our research indicated that even on ESPN, viewers would change the channel (or turn their TVs off)…

I’ll remember this the next time they cast a Brit as an American in any movie ever.

And yet I spent 30 years with Wally West as Flash (it’s going to be Barry Allen in the film). I spent decades with multiple people as Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers is recent and she’s the one that got the pick). Dick Grayson hasn’t been Robin in nearly 40 years yet he’s the only version ever put to film.

I’ll say it. I thought Hustle and Flow was GREAT!!! It was nice to see a movie about black people not from the East coast, SoCal, or the Tyler Perry Christo-Cultural Complex.
