When you get back, it’d be cool to see a head to head competition of this and a new Grand Cherokee (closest thing to a Wagoneer for now). Maybe not with a TrailHawk but a GC that would somewhat line up with where this Wagoneer was in the market/options list. Relatively since it’s 2018.
It would also go up if you raise the liability coverage limit values - which I would do. That’s not a bad safety net to have just in case you need it...
This is a good way to hide getting a stolen propane truck into the park when you don’t want Mr. Lahey (RIP sir) to see.
Rolls is catering to the old luxury - “influencers” - that’s so 2016 luxury! Don’t they know the current buzzword is now “disruptor”?
I project there will be a lot of comments regarding either the cars that got away, or the cars we sold that we shouldn’t have. I agree - those are big regrets, and I have my fair share...sadly.
Oops! To be fair, I almost wrote Jellystone so that would have been a worse error :)
At least there was something in it to cause the steam! Just take the hood off
It’s not actually broken down - just visiting Yosemite and that is Old Faithful in the background.
Mercury Marauder, add a blower, and upgrade the stereo. Done!
No, the Cavalier was a GM design. The Geo/Chevy Prism in the 90's was a Corolla. Also the 80's Chevy Nova was a Toyota underneath.
I had heard of siping for winter climates, but never realized companies were trying to push it as actually a helpful thing dry or hot conditions...
Yes - but the aftermarket can work wonders. And it’s exponentially more interesting over the standard fare!
I agree, it will take time - the true amount of time we don’t know, as it’s hard to accurately predict the future. However it lies within the processing power, and deep learning / machine learning algorithms along with the commoditization (can I make that a word?) of the various detection technologies.
When you drive around and see “modified” jeeps that are usually just Jeeps with lifts, gawdy rims, mud tires, and “angry” grilles, the prospect of seeing something truly customized like this would be cool, and refreshing!
I’m late, I know, and haven’t read comments yet.
I can see how that could happen - and have had many cases that are similar occur to me. Nothing like pulling something apart you just finished putting back together. That feeling of accomplishment that is immediately wiped out - in stages - first the “No way I did that”, then the “Oh crap, did I do that?”, then the…
Probably stashed the other nut in the case for the thread chaser :)
As others have noted, I think it’s a nice car and maybe a good future used luxury value. But I was a bit disappointed it was based on a Fusion chassis. Even stretched...it’s too small. Needs a bigger platform, bigger car. I’d love to see a Lincoln that truly competes size wize and luxury with S-Class, 7 Series,…
Agreed! When we were looking it was very similar, hard to find houses specifically with garages by online searches. We ended up giving specs to the realtor, specifically requesting a detached garage or very nice attached garage as a parameter that would be desired.
