This is the 2001 Chrysler Sebring convertible of it’s time. So if you vote NP for this it’s like voting NP for a Sebring 15 years from now. :P
Interested to learn more technical details. I can see the rear IRS in pics (and it was noted as 4 wheel independent suspension), but still haven’t seen confirmation if this is a body-on-frame based on the Ram chassis.
I CP’ed this because I often forget the first gen malaise Seville was RWD. It’s the 2nd gen cars I think are the most forgettable malaise Cadillacs, and I truly would rather have a Cimmaron as a talking peice over one of those.
Summer is June 20th so you’re early :)
Nice! I have an older set of Torin brand 6 tons from TSC and they don’t have a pin - I like that as an extra safety measure though, I may need to look into those.
A few points - definitely check these if you have them, and get them returned. Pay attention to the teeth on the stand bar too, I’ve seen some of them that are very shallow - this may be the thing causing the recall, the forming dies for the teeth are getting worn on the tooling.
Maybe I’ll have to wheel this XJ in and do a quick video going over it. It’s rough but perfect at the same time! 95 Cherokee sport 2-door, 4wd/auto.
Haven’t had too many recently as I sold mine to a buddy a bit over a year ago. But I still work on it occasionally and can get some video when I do. Don’t tell David Tracy but I also got a 2 door XJ Cherokee that belongs to a family member waiting to get back on the road...
So at first I was thinking yeah just buy the long block and save yourself the hassle, unless you really want to rebuild a motor - plus you got a few other Jeeps there with better motors that could be your first full rebuild.
A cursory google search seems to indicate that they only made 1475 Blackwing engined cars through 2019 and 2020. That appears to include CT6V and the lower output CT6 Platinum versions.
NP!
Ahh the Meth150 body style
While this is clean, I don’t think the 125k miles justifies a $4,000 price. If it’s super clean underneath then great.
I’m coming in pretty late here but know WJ’s pretty well if you have any questions on them.
Totally agree - plus, if that time comes, imagine the stress from working at the hospital, dealing with the positive test, worrying about family, and now you gotta go move an RV?
I love this car, but 25k is definitely someone checking to see if the market for these has gone aircooled Porsche. Hint: It hasn’t.
Looks like a decent price, truck looks generally decent...demand for these is pretty low so I kinda doubt it’d sell like that. V8 would be a hotter sell, the last of the 302's...
Gross
If you were a parts hoarder and the yard doesn’t charge a ton for them, there are some SHO specific parts that would be good to toss in storage. Bumper covers look clean, spoiler, etc.
