“If it wasn’t for homosexuals, trans persons, single-mothers, dorks, immigrants, kids with learning disabilities, pot-heads, black people, Jews, and non-Christians standing up and demanding equal rights and a place in society, then upstanding heterosexual white male citizens wouldn’t feel threatened. Everyone go back

Thanks for bringing back the memories. This is why I generally skim the clapback mailbag. I kept up with it when it first started, but I get worn down reading letters like Nancy’s week after week. I usually just skip directly to Michael’s answers and guess at what the wall of text above it said. This works incredibly

Yeah they do, y’all are just praying to the wrong god. I’ve got some pamphlets here about Ixtlilton you might find interesting...

In my experience as a former teenage girl, who was friends other teenage girls (using past tense because they are no longer teens), fathers are often more unlikely to than mothers underestimate a daughter’s experience. And I suspect visa-versa for mothers and sons.

Is he sitting in a barrel of peppers? Fucking why?

I’ve never worked in a restaurant, but I did get sexually harassed at my first job, a summer gig at a home improvement store. So, as a non-parent, I say tell your daughter that sooner or later she will be sexually harassed and the options she can take when that happens.

Odd that Trump would pick AIDS, of all things. It’s a disease that mainly affects black people and homosexual men. Unless his supporters are secretly banging blacks and gays on the sly (especially black gays), which, I guess, would make it a major issue.

I don’t work directly with HUD, but I am in the affordable housing industry. HUD has not had a budget increase since Trump took office (big surprise), and has been in a holding pattern due to it’s current leader’s inexperience and lack of direction.

Lol, you can relax when you get to the other side of the road.

Honestly, the baby was probably safer in the car than in her arms.

I can understand not using a cell phone, but if you’re the type of person who needs to know what time it is, then get yourself a watch.

Also stamina plays a huge role. Sure I can swim, but I can’t swim very far or very fast before I get tired. I always err on the side of a life jacket. My dad is a strong swimmer, often doing a few miles in the local pool, but he also makes sure to wear a life-jacket just to set an example. Good man, that guy.

Huh, username checks out.

That happened to me this morning. There is a two lane road that I jaywalk (sue me) across every morning to get to my bus stop, and traffic density is low, so I usually don’t have to wait long to cross. A guy in the lane closest to me stopped to let me pass, which is rare, and, quite frankly, unnecessary because there

Stupid. You have to pay EXTRA attention when traveling to new places.

Man, I always want to rip the phone out of their hands and throw it into traffic. Sometimes it seems like I am the only pedestrian paying attention, and I have to duck and weave past hordes of people moving in erratic patterns while they stare at their phones.

“The cemeteries are full of people who had right of way.”

I look them in the eye and say: “I dunno

Racism aside, the French have a reputation for being stuck-up assholes for a reason.

What if we spin history so that Reagan was named after the airport? Because the airport is pretty decent as far as airports go.
