I see. I didn’t get that as a casual Jez reader. Yeah, I’d rather the news media err on the side of too much wellness over too much hedonism.

What you’re looking for is called “moderation”, and it’s not easy to sell to people.

This is what kills me. Stop trying to reach out to everyone and focus of motivating the people you’ve got. I know it’s hard, conservatives only need to defend the status quo, while progressives actually need to come up with plans and ideas for change.

It’s the power of the Tri-Force!

In addition to being tempted by sex, you might find yourself dating someone of another race, or faith, or political ideology. You may find yourself wandering farther and farther from home (especially in a small town) to meet someone, and you become exposed to their world view. These are all Bad Things to Evangelicals.

I’m not racist because people of color exist”

I actually have taken a basketball to the face in gym class. Not out of maliciousness, I just suck at basketball. I’d like my entire high school class to be retroactively arrested now.

I know. That’s why I like to start my drinking in the early afternoon and stop a few hours before bedtime. I’m a fun person.

When I read this article there were no comments. When I refreshed the page there was this comment. I think that’s all that needs to be said here.

And yet I’ve aged 3 years since January. We are caught in a time maze!

I’ve learned this through my own studies on public transit. I generally don’t pick up on the anger or happiness of other passengers, but I will pick up on anxiety. If someone is pacing or fidgeting or twitching, then I will start getting antsy myself, no matter how calm I was previous to being in their presence. And

It is sarcasm

I’ve learned that I can’t drink when I’m too anxious. Anecdotally, alcohol is supposed to “take the edge off” a stressful situation, but for me it just amplifies the stomach aches and nausea that I feel whenever I get to nervous about something. So I only drink when I’m in a good mood, which I highly recommend.

I neglected to mention that I am a cis-gender woman.

Many places are now switching to “we card everyone”, which I’m fine with. Sometimes people get way too upset about these policies, if the website NotAlwaysRight is any indication. Like, you need to get money out of your wallet anyways, just show ID.

To give a serious answer to your question: the weight is just an average. They don’t weigh you at the DMV (where we get licences in America), you just tell them your weight. Barring any drastic loss or gain, most people stay around the same size, give or take 10 pounds, for years at a time. We do have to renew our

You’ve been denied service? I’m a tiny (as in short, not skinny) young-looking woman, and while I get carded a lot, I’ve never been denied service upon showing ID, even when traveling to a different state. I’m sorry this keeps happening to you.

When I was 29 I was carded to see an R-rated movie (so they thought I was at least potentially 16). That was the last straw before I decided to grow a beard.

That’s my thought. That if it wasn’t an interloper, then it was some uneducated twat who wanted a “cooler” version of the presidential seal (because they’re too stupid to realize there is only one). They saw this two headed one with money and thought, “Rad **cricket noises** I’ll use this one.

Sure, that’s my goal in life, too. But deep down I know that I need that human contact. If I go too long without it, then I lose my progress in how-to-talk-human and my social anxiety will flare up because I forgot words are.
