I just wish someone who advocates alternative medicine therapies could definitively explain just what the hell a "toxin" is, in the context they're always using it. It's always so vague. If oil pulling works on "toxins and bacteria," and bacteria are bacteria, then WTF are the toxins?

Well, you didn't really address any of what I said, but ok. People, specifically, medical marijuana patients, are forcing you to inhale their cannabis smoke? Really? Alrighty.

There's not actually any evidence that smoking cannabis yourself causes any adverse health effects, let alone second-hand cannabis smoke. Despite the combustion, there simply isn't the link to health problems that there is with cigarettes. Not that there haven't been many attempts to prove such a link. No dice. It

Yes! Let it out! I love that shit, too.

That's how I interpreted it, too.

I'm from the South myself, and I think Andrew Lincoln's accent is actually spot-on. Personally, I think Brits are far better at doing our accents than Americans are at doing theirs. Speaking of Brits on TWD, I also think David Morrissey's "Genteel Southern psycho" accent was excellent.

A LOT of American characters are played by Brit actors on TV. Especially the American archetypes, for whatever reason. It's actually a pretty long list.

It landed with me.

It's a date. Hell, his Brazilian model wife can come along too. She seems pretty chill (you'd have to be, to be married to MM, right?)

Whatever it is, it's a-ok with me.

Yup. You get it.

Thank you! Honestly, if I had to choose someone in Hollywood to hang out with, he'd be in my top 3. Woody can come along, but I get to ride shotgun. We'll pass a joint, giggle about stupid crap and generally have a grand 'ol time.

Frankly, this just makes me like Matthew McConaughey more. Despite his crazy Oscar's speech, he seems like a nice, wacky guy who might be obtuse at times, but isn't an asshole. He's anti-hipster. He doesn't try to be unapproachable and cool. He's not trying to be a Fassbender. He's just hanging out, throwing out

I've always suspected this, for some reason.

I agree, and also think that Matthew McConaughey is fine on a personal level. He's kind of wacky, and he doesn't care about looking cool. He seems like one of the few Hollywood actors who is just himself, even if that's odd or off-putting at times, without being an asshole. He has a certain touch of earnestness

Like tofu — I usually find it gross, unless it's made by a chef who knows what they're doing. Usually in Asian cuisine. Then it's great.

What's funny is that I don't think Matthew McConaughey is even a "Christian," per se. He's pretty new-agey in his approach. If the Fox News crowd goes all in with this, they're going to be embarrassed. This is a dude who likes to get high and play the bongos naked. He may be from Texas, but he's not

Yeah, that's where I lost it, as well. Like, grumpy-ass older John Wayne couldn't bring himself to hate on Robert Stack. LOL.

The fact that Madeline is calling (the admittedly rather wacky) McConaughey's actually rather standard, "Oh, man, I'm going to ramble on and fail to thank critical people and what the fuck am I doing," deer in headlights speech, that is quite common from first-time winners, the "worst Oscar's speech of all time" due
